Mohan Babu is producing a film with Manoj as hero in the direction of Surya Kiran. Bala Krishna Nandamuri switched on the camera. K Raghavendra Rao sounded the clapboard and SS Rajamouli directed the first shot. Nagarjuna also graced this occasion.

Remake of Tamil film ‘Chitram Pesuthadi’ – Mohan Babu
Speaking on the occasion producer Mohan Babu said, “This is production no.47 on our home banner. This film is a remake of Tamil film ‘Chitram Pesuthadi’. We changed the story upto 30% to suit our Telugu sensibilities. We are searching for a fresh heroine. I was impressed with Surya Kiran’s work in Satyam film. That is why I offered him to direct this film. Yuan Shankar Raja is scoring music. Shooting of the film will be completed in January and February 2007. We are planning to release the film in the second week of April.”

Director Surya Kiran said, “We also did the muhurat of my first film Satyam at the same venue. Hero Manoj is a very energetic guy and the script suits him. This film is a heart touching love story with an action backdrop.”
