Pooja ceremony of Puri Jagan’s latest movie Golimaar with Gopachand as hero was held at Puri Jagan’s office today morning. It was attended by Puri Jagan, Gopichand, Bellamkonda Suresh and Chakri. Bellamkonda Suresh produces this movie.

Puri Jagan said, “Shooting of the movie will start from 20 December 2009. I want to release Golimaar in April 2010. I had been a good friend of Bellamkonda Suresh even before I became a director. I am happy to work in his production. This movie is inspired by the events happened in the life story of encounter specialist Daya Nayak. Gopichand will get a good name with this move.”

Bellamkonda Suresh said, “Golimaar is an action entertainer. I knew Puri Jagan for the past 25 years. There will be our nativity in this movie.”

Gopichand said, “I had been in film industry for the past 9 years and I never got an opportunity to work with big directors. I used to take all the burden of my films because I preferred new directors. Since Puri Jagan is directing this movie, I can relax. I am doing an inspiring character that is full of energy. There will be romance angle as well.”

Gopichand, Nassar and Roja play other important roles. Shyam K Naidu handles cinematography. Chakri composes music. Chinna will do art direction. Vijay will compose action sequences.
