The producers arranged a press meet at Taj Banjara on the evening of 20 July. Siddharth, Nitya Menon, Priya Anand, Kiran Reddy, Jayendra, Geeta, Umarji Anuradha, Subha and KT Balasubramanien participated in it.

Director Jayendra said, “180 is a romantic movie which is going to be shot in Hyderabad and USA. It is an urbane based love story. The shooting is already begun. We are having same title for both Telugu and Tamil versions.”

Actor Siddharth said, “The main reason for accepting this project is because it is directed by Jayendra. He is a family friend and knew me since childhood. He is also my Godfather. He is the reason why I am in this stage now. He offered me the dubbing chance to a mosquito coil in eight languages when I was 9-years old. He gave me Rs. 300/- for that. He did over 500 ad commercials so far. I feel elated to work in his debut feature film. 180 movie has amazing story. It’s time for new films like Prasthanam and Vedam in Telugu film industry. 180 will join the list. Producer Kiran Reddy is a businessman. He trusted Jayendra and me to produce this movie. Balasubramaniem is going to use digital camera for this movie. Telugu scene of this movie is being shot first followed by Tamil scene. I am entering Tamil film industry as Telugu hero with 180 film. Shooting of this film will be completed by December. I am currently doing three movies. My latest movie Baava is going to release in September month. Jayendra is the 8th debut director I am working with.”

Actress Priya Anand said, “This is the first love story in my career. It is a good opportunity for me.”
