The film under S P Creations with Shivaji and Laya in the lead had been christened as Adirindayya Chandram with the tag line of Kotha Illu…Kotha Pellam…Kotha… Talking at a press meet about the progress of the film producer, Nukarao Suryaprakash Rao said, "About 60% of the shooting of the film is over. We are currently shooting for a song sequence between Shivaji and Laya. The song is a slow romantic song and the music provided by music director MM Sreelekha is outstanding."

"The second schedule of the film will start from the first week of April and will continue till the completion of the shooting. The director has shown great workmanship with regards to the story and the picturisation. The title of the film is very common and has been used by Asian Paints, when we heard the story and the title we were sure that this was the right title for the film," said the producer.

Sreelekha spoke next said, "All the songs in the film are situational an have a lot of emotion in them. The producer has given me enough freedom to give some great music. The outcome will be in front of the audience real soon and it depends on them how the movie will fare."

Laya the main heroine of the film said, "After the success of Missamma I am again teaming up with Shivaji and I am sure that this film will also do well. The story is very sweet and is something that everyone in the audience will be able to relate to. Shivaji and I again play a couple, but this time we are a very loving couple. The comedy and the music of the film are extraordinary. This film will be a milestone in my career."

Director Srinivas Reddy said, "I will be living up to the expectations of the producer and the final product is something that all the audience will like. The actors have been giving their hundred percent to the film. The music and the lyricist are going to be a winning combination for the film."

Shivaji who was the last to speak said, "The title suits the story very well, we went through the process of selecting a tile by looking at about 60-70 titles, but this was the best. The title is something that everyone of the telugu audience knows. The whole story revolves around my character Chandram. A happily married man from a small town to gets promoted to a bigger city and develops a seven years kind of itch and falls for another woman. It is a good and clean comedy film"

Apart from Laya there will be two more heroines in the film one of them is Swathi Varma who is being introduced with this film and the third heroine is yet to be decided upon.
