The unit of Nagarjuna's latest film King this evening held its first ever press meet at Taj Deccan, Hyderabad. Incidentally, today is the 49th birthday of hero Nag. Director Seenu Vytla, Nagarjuna, storywriters Kona Venkat and Gopi addressed the media. The film is made on Kamakshi Kala Movies. With its shooting schedules at brisk progress, King is all set for release in December third week.

I am just director, Nag is King: Seenu Vytla
Seenu Vytla said: "I am happy to hold this event on Nagarjuna's birthday. Previously I did Anandam, Dhee and Ready in my own style and making. But, dealing with King, I have absolutely kept in mind the image of Nagarjuna. Simply, I did my job as director and executed the subject very carefully. The credit goes to Nagarjuna. King will hundred percent satisfy the requisites of Nag fans as it has all the ingredients of his regular films with a bonus of different treatment. We have not compromised anywhere in the film when it comes to quality of subject and production values. I take the opportunity to wish Nagarjuna many happy returns of the day."

King is not ruler, but savior: Kona Venkat
Kona Venkat said: "King means not a ruler here, taken in the context of this film. King seems to present the meaning as a warrior or savior, most probably King Lover. The entire script does travel in tune with Nag's image. Though we (Gopi, Seenu Vytla and self) readied the script thoroughly, the credit of chiseling it with commercial shades and fantastic dramatization goes to Seenu Vytla. Our hard work is going to give good results. The cooperation of producer Sivaprasad Reddy is commendable as the project is being executed with commitment."

Nag about King, Nag Chaitanya and Trisha
Nagarjuna said: "King is shaping up to become a cool movie. Seenu Vytla and his team took extraordinary care in incorporating some of the elements peculiar of thjeir style of making. The prominent aspects of Love and Comedy are not missed. I can say with confidence that Seenu Vytla really did a wonderful job for King. I am very happy today as we are introducing Naga Chaitanya as hero soon. Dad (ANR) too is very much interested and giving worthy suggestions from time to time in this regard. Other than his debut film, I look forward to work with Naga Chaitanya provided a suitable script should be at our disposal. My good friend producer Siva Prasad Reddy will be doing a film with Naga Chaitanya in the direction of Seenu Vytla. (Saying so, Nag went into a hearty laughter) Coming to King, the film has come out excellently. You all know about the magic of Devi Sri Prasad's music. His beats for my films Manmathudu and Mass still are doing well. He has worked with extra dedication for King. Heroine Trisha's contribution to King as heroine is amazing. Actually, we wanted to take her as the female lead for my film Nenunnanu, but it didn't happen due to clash of dates."

Producer Siva Prasad Reddy wished Nagarjuna a happy birthday and said that he would talk about the film on December 19th (Projected as the release date of King).
