The success meet of Siddharth’s Oy! was held at Prasad Labs on the morning of 10 July. Siddharth, Anand Ranga, D Suresh Babu, Rajasimha, Surekha Vani, DVV Danayya, Krishnudu, Saptagiri etc participated in this meet.

Nizam distributor D Suresh Babu said that he released Oy in Nizam and it collected a share of 1.5 crores in 1 week and it is going to be a bigger hit.

Siddharth said, “Film industry is supporting this movie with positive mouth talk and good encouragement. Dil Raju phoned me and said that this film is mounted on international scale. It is a different film for the Telugu movie lovers. For the first time I am getting thundering openings for my film. Oy has a heart touching climax. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is the highlight of oy! Cinematographer Vijay Chakravarthy did a terrific job. I would like to thank the producer Danayya for making this film. Dialogue Rajasimha is talented. He may become a good director in the future. Anand Ranga became a good friend of me during Bommarillu film. When he narrated the script, I asked him to translate as it is onto the screen and he did exactly that. ANR told me that people are comparing Oy to Geetanjali. He also added that Geetanjali did not have openings, but Oy got good openings. These kinds of films won’t be made regularly. K Raghavendra Rao called me and said that people watch a film for hero for a couple of days, but are watching mine even on 5th day. I would like to thank the people who wrote positive reviews of the film.”

Dialogue writer Rajasimha said, “I got this offer because Anand Ranga is a good friend of me. He believes in hard work and has a clear vision of what he is doing. Siddharth is the top hero of Telugu cinema in love genre. I got job satisfaction when I penned the 12 gifts scene.”
