Maithi Kalamandir banner’s debut film is titled as Ganga. Sekhar Yalamanchi is producing this film. Speaking to press he said, “Ganga is about the story of a Jogini in Telangana area. Story of the film is inspired by a private song written by Ande Sri. Koti scored eight songs and Ande Sri penned all the lyrics. Shooting of the film is completed. Dubbing and editing is over. Rerecording and sound mixing is pending. We are planning to release audio in this month end and the movie in third week of August.”

Producing is aimed this film for awards and film festivals. Due to the difference of opinions, the director Vemu left the project and now it is being take care of by Krishna Murthy. Tara who won national award as best actress for the year 2005 is doing an important role.
