CC Srinivas makes his debut as director. M Anji Babu and P Kishore Babu produce this film on Blue Sky entertainment and Mac Media banners. The title unveiling function was held on a grand scale in Club Jayabheri on the night of 11 November.

This function is attended by Srikanth, Jagapati Babu, Rajasekhar, Arjun, Rajamouli, Krishna Vamsi, Surender Reddy, SV Krishna Reddy, B Gopal, Posani Krishna Murali, Boyapati Seenu, KS Rama Rao, KL Narayana, Ashok Kumar, C Kalyan, Vijayendra Prasad, Murali Mohan, Devi Prasad etc.

Speaking on the occasion Rajamouli said, “Srikanth has been doing monotonous characters from the beginning of his career. But he changed his style started doing wide variety of roles in the past couple of years. This film too gives Srikanth such a scope. Jagapati Babu started a new trend by acting in multistarrers. I would like to thank him for that.”

Jagapati Babu said, “I always have cordial relationship with Sri Mitra Chowdary. And I cannot refuse when he asks me something. I was asked to do a special role and I spared 5 days to do this film. I am impressed the trailer shown here.”

Srikanth said, “This film offers variety. I would like to thank Jagapati Babu for doing this role in my film. I am willing to act in any of Jagapati Babu’s films.”

Srimitra Chowdary said, “I had known Srikanth and Jagapati Babu for the past 10 years. I was impressed by Srikanth’s mass abilities after watching Khadgam. When I expressed my willingness to produce a film, my friends in film industry discouraged me. But I am very much sure that I can make a big hit film with Srikanth as hero. Director Srinivas is a passionate man. We took a Tamil subject and changed it to suit our tastes.”
