The grand launch event of the ‘Dil Raju Dreams’ website saw the presence of special guests Vijay Deverakonda and Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, who officially launched the site.

Vijay Deverakonda at the event:
“Hello everyone. 13 years ago, I used to wake up and the first thing I did was open idlebrain.com to check for casting calls. Back then, we didn’t have so much internet or social media. I still remember seeing a casting call for Sekhar Kammula’s Life is Beautiful in idlebrain.com. I applied for it and went through six months of anxiety waiting for a response—but even that anxiety was satisfying. Out of 16,000 applicants, 11 were selected, and I was one of them. That film played a major role in my life.

I don’t know what made Dil Raju Garu want to launch this platform, but it has given hope to lakhs of people. I wish all the best to everyone applying. Even if one person’s dream comes true through this site, it will justify this initiative. Dil Raju Garu has already launched 14 directors. Now through this, many actors, directors, technicians, and producers will be launched. I would be so happy if, five years from now, one of you stands on this stage and says: ‘I saw the launch of Dil Raju Dreams, Vijay Deverakonda inaugurated it, I applied, and today I am here.’ Thank you to everyone and congrats to Dil Raju Garu.”

Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad:
“Good evening everyone! I’m very happy to see so many people here. When someone dreams of something creative, they are often discouraged more than supported. But when people around you try to demotivate you, that should ignite a fire in you. If you believe in your dream, no one can stop you. The biggest examples of this are Dil Raju Garu, Shirish Garu, and Vijay Deverakonda.

We must believe in our own dreams and goals. My best wishes to all of you. Raju Garu is like family to me—he's like an elder brother. I’ve never seen a website like this before, which gives space not just to actors, directors, and technicians, but also to producers. It’s wonderful that a reputed production house is launching this. “Thanks to Vijay and Devi for coming. My journey with DSP began with Arya. I know how hard he works for a successful album. Vijay started with small roles and is now creating a kingdom of his own. Both of them coming to this event means a lot.

Under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, we launched many new directors who are now successful. We've completed 57 films so far. We take each step carefully. After launching Dil Raju Productions with Harshith and Hanshitha, they too have introduced four new directors and are making varied films.

There are many who want to become directors, producers, artists, and technicians—but lack proper guidance. That’s where the idea of ‘Dil Raju Dreams’ came from. We’re doing big films under Sri Venkateswara Creations and launching films with new directors under Dil Raju Productions.

We’ve created a young team for Dil Raju Dreams. Many want to become producers but don’t know how to begin or finish a film. Some bring us short videos and say, ‘See my film!’ But making a film is not enough—bringing it to audiences is the real task. Everyone is passionate about entering cinema, but the right platform is missing. That’s what we are creating.

Around 2,000 people came to this event, which shows how much passion exists for cinema. It took us 30 years to get here. Entering and succeeding in cinema isn’t easy. Out of 100 people trying to become directors, only five may get a chance, and one will succeed. Success in this field is just 1%—keep that in mind.

Don’t give up your current work while trying for cinema. We didn’t leave our automobile business until we succeeded in films. We didn’t want our families to suffer if we failed in movies.

You have to know for yourself whether you can make it in the film industry. Believe in yourself. Cinema is an attraction—it pulls you in. But don’t let it negatively affect your life. When you truly realize you’re succeeding in films, that’s when you should give it your all.

Vijay, DSP, Nani—all of us are independent success stories. Even the earlier generation—Chiranjeevi Garu, Rajinikanth Garu—all of them succeeded independently and worked very hard. Cinema is all about hard work.

We are creating this platform through Dil Raju Dreams. You can apply, and the team will screen and forward the promising ones to us. We will evaluate and select, but many may get rejected. Don’t be disheartened. Keep trying with confidence, and success will follow.

We are also adding a column for producers. Our team will guide you with proper analysis. There are many scams in the industry—awareness is essential. For this event alone, 10,000 registrations were received. That shows over one to two lakh people worldwide are ready to use this platform to enter the film industry.
