The Raja Saab is an eagerly awaited mass entertainer bringing together Rebel Star Prabhas, talented director Maruthi, and the prestigious production house People Media Factory. The film features Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads. The Raja Saab is scheduled for a grand worldwide theatrical release on December 5, 2025.

Today, the teaser launch event was held in Hyderabad amidst roaring cheers from fans and movie lovers. Production designer Rajeevan shared, “We’ve been working on The Raja Saab for over three and a half years. It’s been a wonderful experience. We’re still working on designs for the film. Audiences will love the Raja Saab haveli and all the artwork created for the film.”

Cinematographer Karthik Palani said, “This is my first time speaking on such a grand stage. I thoroughly enjoyed working on this film. This is my second project with Prabhas sir, and working with him has been a truly special experience.”

Creative producer SKN added, “Today is the birthday of The Raja Saab executive producer Krithi. Wishing her a very happy birthday! After watching the teaser, everyone will understand the grand vision of producer TG Vishwa Prasad. This film will make the name ‘People Media Factory’ unforgettable. As a friend, I’ve seen the dedication and talent of Maruthi over the years. His father used to sell bananas near Siri Complex Theatre in Machilipatnam, and even then, Maruthi dreamt of having a banner of his own put up at that theatre. After 21 years of struggle in the industry, he has made that dream come true with The Raja Saab. starring Rebel Star Prabhas. When a producer from the industry spoke negatively about the film, I was confident that the same person would praise it after release. Prabhas believed in Maruthi and the project. This is not a movie launch or trailer release, just a teaser and look at the overwhelming response already. On December 5, The Raja Saab will create history at the box office.”

He continued, “Thaman’s music, Karthik Palani’s visuals, and Rajeevan’s sets will all be highlights. Special thanks to the Telugu media and journalists from other states for attending today’s event.”

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad stated, “Thank you to everyone who came for the teaser launch. The Raja Saab is the biggest film ever from our banner. We’ve built the largest indoor set ever for this movie. I can confidently say this will be the third biggest film in terms of VFX and production scale. Ever since we began work on The Raja Saab, expectations have been sky-high, and I assure you we will exceed them. The film will break every box office record. Prabhas is a global icon, and working with him has been a joy. He gave his nod to the film just minutes into our first discussion. Maruthi is the best director for this film. From beginning to end, The Raja Saab will entertain. While a few of our 2024 films underperformed, this movie will make up for it with massive success. Maruthi worked tirelessly for 120 days, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The 40-minute climax will be one of the film’s major highlights. We cast Sanjay Dutt in the antagonist’s role to match Prabhas’s screen presence. A global-scale sequel to The Raja Saab is already in the pipeline.”

Director Maruthi shared, “Thanks to all the media friends who attended the teaser launch, especially those from other states. I hope you enjoyed our hospitality. My journey with The Raja Saab began when UV Vamsi called and asked if I’d like to do a film with Prabhas. Of course, I said yes. He asked me to fly to Mumbai and meet Prabhas. Meeting him felt like meeting God. He warmly received me and said, ‘Call me Darling.’ He told me he loved my films like Prema Katha Chitram and Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, and wanted to make a film like that with me. I pitched a story idea. At the time, my film Pakka Commercial didn’t do well, and I doubted if I was the right fit for Prabhas, given his pan-India lineup. I even told UV Vamshi that maybe we should do it later.”

“But just then, Prabhas called and started discussing the points he liked in the story I pitched. I realized then that if someone like Prabhas is this excited about my story, why should I back out? I took it up as a challenge. After Pakka Commercial, a few producers felt that working with me wouldn’t be viable. But Prabhas stood by me. After the film was announced, many had doubts and how would I can handle a fun film with Prabhas? Even my own family questioned whether this project would suit him. But I committed myself fully to this script.”

He added, “Some in the industry asked whether a Maruthi film was needed at this stage of Prabhas’s career. But he firmly believed in me. Even last night, we spent half an hour discussing the teaser. I showed it to director Hanu Raghavapudi, and he loved it. I often share fans’ social media posts about the film with Prabhas. He genuinely cherishes his fans. He may not meet you often in person, but I’ve seen how tirelessly he works to give you the best movies. He checks every detail about the film and always says, ‘Our fans are wonderful, and we must give them a wonderful film.’”

“For this film, we brought in three heroines to show a vibrant, vintage Prabhas. In films like Kalki, Salaar, and Adipurush, he had limited interactions with the heroines. This time, we wanted to showcase a ‘Bujjigadu’-style Prabhas in a pan-India format. If the teaser impressed you this much, imagine what the trailer and film will be like. We’re showing Prabhas exactly how fans want to see him. He has a unique comic timing, and you’ll enjoy that in this film.
