Theatrical trailer of Krish’s latest film Kanche with Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal in the main leads is launched at screen 4 (Dolby Atmos screen) of Prasads multiplex. SS Rajamouli and Naga Babu attended it as guests.

Kanche will cross the commercial kanche (barrier) for Krish - Rajamouli
SS Rajamouli said, “Movie is all about transporting audiences into a different world. One advantage of having a periodical backdrop is that it's easy to take audience into a different world. The moment I saw war tank in the trailer, I got goosebumps. I have realised the kind of hard work and detailing Krish has gone into. Krish’s movies have always got good critical acclaim, but never realized the true box office potential that the content deserves. I am sure that Kanche will overcome that barrier (kanche). People might have advised Varun Tej to become like heroes in their family, but my advice to him is to be himself and pave a different path for himself. His selection of scripts also show such a different thinking.”

Everything fell in place just like Gamyam - Krish
Krish said, “The world war II was started on 1 September 1939 and ended on 2 September 1945. We haven’t seen films with world war backdrop in Telugu and Tamil. When I wrote the script, I had too many budget constraints. But everything fall in place and Kanche movie happened just the way Gamyam film happened. I needed an actor to perform the role of an innocent looking fierce student from Chennapatam. I got Varun Tej to play the character, by the God’s grace. The runtime of movie is 2 hours and five minutes. Films like Baahubali and Srimanthudu have done extremely well at box office recently. I hope that Kanche will join the list. Music of Kanche will be launched on 12 September and film will release on 2 October.”

Varun Tej said, “I was so tensed in the beginning as it has such a rare backdrop. But when I saw the visuals during the dubbing of the movie, I realized the impact. I feel lucky to be a part of this film”

Pragya Jaiswal said, “I am playing Seeta Devi character - an emotional yet strong and confident woman in this movie. It’s pretty rare opportunity to play such a kind of character at an early stage of any actress’s career.”

Nagababu said, “One has to be experience and patient while listening to Krish’s narration as he goes into detailing. After listening to Kanche narration, I couldn’t utter a word for 15 minutes. The story had such an impact. I am happy to see Varun Tej being a part of such a powerful story”
