Balan: The Boy, jointly produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, has emerged as a successful venture. The film is directed by Chidambaram, the filmmaker behind the acclaimed Manjummel Boys, and is based on a script written by Aavesham fame Jithu Madhavan. The movie is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn.

Released recently in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil, the film has received an excellent response from audiences and achieved notable success. Annapurna Studios distributed the film across the Telugu states. To celebrate the film’s successful theatrical run, the team organized a Success Meet in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the event, producer Shailaja Desai Fenn said, “Balan: The Boy is the first production from Thespian Films, which has collaborated with KVN Productions on this project. Although this was our first attempt as producers, director Chidambaram placed his trust in us. Our production house was established thanks to the encouragement and support of both Chidambaram and director Priyadarshan. We are also producing a Hindi film titled Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan. Venkat from KVN Productions extended immense support throughout this journey. He believed in our passion and stood by us every step of the way. I sincerely thank him for that.”

Child artist Muhammad Zinan said, “I would like to thank everyone who watched and encouraged our film. We hope audiences continue to support us. Balan – The Boy offers a unique cinematic experience, and I urge everyone to watch it in theatres.”

Actor Jean Paul Lal said, “Balan – The Boy has already achieved great success in Malayalam. We hope Telugu audiences will embrace it with the same enthusiasm. It is a wonderful film, and I feel fortunate to have been a part of it. I am grateful to our director and producers.”

Child artist Adhiseshan said, “I am very happy to have played an important role in this film. I thank director Chidambaram for giving me this opportunity. Everyone who has watched the movie has been appreciating it immensely. I hope more audiences come forward and support our film.”

The character I portrayed has been receiving a very positive response. The moment I heard the script, I was delighted that my debut film offered me such a strong role. I did not need any special preparation because the script itself had tremendous strength. Telugu audiences have always encouraged quality cinema, and we are confident they will support a unique film like Balan – The Boy.”

Director Chidambaram said, “Telugu audiences truly enjoy and celebrate cinema. For them, the language of a film is never a barrier. If the content is good, they wholeheartedly support it. The immense love you showed for Manjummel Boys gave us the confidence to bring a different concept film like Balan – The Boy to you. We believe you will make it a success as well. Good films will always find their space, and audiences will support them. This film has once again proved that.

Jithu and I developed this story based on several real-life experiences we witnessed. Many people like the characters portrayed in our film exist in the world around us, but we often fail to notice them. I would love to direct films in both Telugu and Tamil. I have great admiration for the Telugu film industry, and discussions are already underway for a Telugu project. As a filmmaker, I value the trust audiences place in me, and I will continue making films that live up to that trust.

I would also like to thank Annapurna Studios for distributing our film and Naga Chaitanya for promoting it. The story itself inspired me and motivated the entire team to work with passion and dedication. I believe the story is the film’s greatest strength.”

డైరెక్టర్ చిదంబరం మాట్లాడుతూ - తెలుగు ఆడియెన్స్ సినిమాను ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తారు. సెలబ్రేట్ చేస్తారు. వారికి ఏ భాష సినిమా అనేది ఇంపార్టెంట్ కాదు. మంచి కంటెంట్ ఉంటే ఆదరిస్తారు. అలాగే మా మంజుమ్మెల్ బాయ్స్ సినిమాపై మీరు ఎంతో ప్రేమ చూపించారు. ఇప్పుడు ఆ నమ్మకంతోనే బాలన్ ది బాయ్ వంటి ఒక డిఫరెంట్ కాన్సెప్ట్ మూవీని మీ ముందుకు తీసుకొచ్చాం. మీరు సక్సెస్ చేస్తారని ఆశిస్తున్నాం. మంచి సినిమాలకు ఎప్పుడూ స్పేస్ ఉంటుంది, ప్రేక్షకులు ఆదరిస్తారు. ఆ విషయాన్ని ఈ సినిమా మరోసారి ప్రూవ్ చేసింది. నేను, జీతు చూసిన అనేక రియల్ లైఫ్స్ ఆధారంగా ఈ కథను రెడీ చేశాం. మా సినిమాలో చూపించినటువంటి వాళ్లు ఎంతోమంది ఈ ప్రపంచంలో ఉన్నారు. కానీ మనం వారిని చూడలేకపోతున్నాం. నేను తెలుగుతో పాటు తమిళంలో సినిమా చేయాలి. నాకు తెలుగు ఇండస్ట్రీ అంటే ఇష్టం. తెలుగులో ఒక మూవీ చర్చల దశలో ఉంది. దర్శకుడిగా నాపై ప్రేక్షకులు ఒక నమ్మకం పెట్టుకుంటారు. ఆ నమ్మకాన్ని కాపాడేలా సినిమాలు రూపొందిస్తాను. మా మూవీని డిస్ట్రిబ్యూట్ చేసిన అన్నపూర్ణ సంస్థకు, ప్రమోట్ చేసిన నాగ చైతన్యకు థ్యాంక్స్. ఈ స్టోరీనే నన్ను ఇన్స్ పైర్ చేసింది. టీమ్ అంతా ఒక్కటిగా ప్యాషనేట్ గా పనిచేసేలా చేసింది. మా సినిమాకు స్టోరీనే పెద్ద స్ట్రెంత్ అని భావిస్తున్నా. అన్నారు.
