Megastar Chiranjeevi on Saturday released the teaser of Karthikeya-starrer Bhaje Vaayu Vegam and it is gripping in every sense. The film marks the directorial debut of Prashanth Reddy, while Ishwarya Menon, Rahul Tyson, Tanikella Bharani, Ravi Shankar and Sarath Lohitswa are playing supporting roles.

Little over a minute, the teaser opens with a car zooming past on an empty Hyderabad road at a speed of knots during night before a voiceover informs us that the protagonist is the main accused in the drugs case; in fact he is also the main accused in the death of the police officer who is investigating the drugs case. Later, we get to see a minister ordering a posse of police officers to nab the accused at any cost. Soon after, we get a darshan of Karthikeya, cutting a stern pose. “Prathi okkadi life-lo okaduntadu, vaadi kosam manam emcheyadanikaina venukadam. Naa life-lo adhi maa nanna (In every person’s life there is someone for whom we will do anything. That person in my life is my father),” he says before taking on a raft of adversaries and pinning them down. The teaser concludes with a glimpse of Karthikeya’s dad (Tanikella Bharani) who is seen having a lighter moment with his two sons.

Overall, the teaser replete with adrenaline-pumping stunts and father-son emotional drive promises a fast-paced thriller that will keep you at the edge-of-your-seats. The background score by Kapil Kumar is stirring as well as soothing (towards the end), while Karthikeya seems to be playing a role which is carrying a certain burden. With UV behind the production, the production values are obviously rich, while the visuals are first-rate.
