Had everything gone according to plan, power star Pawan Kalyan-starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu would’ve marked Bollywood actor Bobby Deol’s Telugu debut but with the film put on pause mode due to Pawan’s political commitments, Bobby’s debut had to wait. The wait, however, didn’t last long as the Hindi actor, who turned heads with his Abrar portrayal in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal last year, will be seen on the Telugu screen some time later this year. The film in question is none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 109th venture with Bobby.

On Saturday, as Bobby, who has starred in Hindi films like Soldier, Badal, Gupt, Race 3, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo, celebrated his 55th birthday, production house Sithara Entertainments officially confirmed Bobby’s participation in #NBK109. In the film, an action-drama, Bobby will be locking horns with Balayya. “Welcome aboard #BobbyDeol garu, A great bundle of talent with enigmatic screen presence! Happy Birthday sir, can't wait to see you unleash yourself with the Lion #NandamuriBalakrishna garu on Big Screens in our #NBK109,” Sithara Entertainments wrote on X (formerly Twitter). While the nature of Bobby’s role is under wraps, expect Bobby to have carved out a fantastic part for him.

#NBK109 latest schedule commenced earlier this week in Hyderabad. Urvashi Rautela is playing a key role in the film, which had gone to floors more than a couple of months ago. Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios are partnering with Sithara on the project.
