The trailer of Bro, which marks power star Pawan Kalyan and his real-life nephew Sai Tej teaming up for the first was unveiled at two places-- Hyderabad and Vizag-- on Saturday by different members of the cast and crew. While film’s director P Samuthirakani, composer Thaman and heroine Ketika Sharma did the honours at Devi theatre, Hyderabad, Sai Tej and producer TG Vishwa Prasad released it at Jagadamba theatre, Vizag.
The two-minute-15-second trailer opens with Pawan stating how Bhasmasura is the ancestor of all human beings. “You torch yourself, not giving chances to others”, he says addressing humans. It cuts to Mark (Sai Tej) who is always on the run, prioritizing his job and not giving time to his family members or his love interest (Ketika). Time Ledhu, is his constant phrase. During a work visit to outstation, he meets with an accident, turning his life upside down. The personification of time, played by Pawan Kalyan, enters his life later and how he influences Mark’s life forms the gist of the story, while promising a heart-touching family entertainer interspersed with dollops of humour and action. Pawan seems to have had a ball playing the time, while mimicking Brahmanandam's viral dialogue from King and dancing to his iconic songs like Killi Killi from Gudumba Shankar and Karo Karo Jara Jalsa from Jalsa.
Also featuring Priya Prakash Varrier, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Rohini and Subbaraju, Raja Chembolu, Prudhvi Raj, Narra Srinu, Yuva Lakshmi, Devika, Ali Reza and Surya Srinivas, Bro, a joint production venture between People Media Factory and Zee Studios, is slated to hit the cinemas coming Friday. Trivikram has penned the film’s screenplay and dialogues.
It’s about a guy called Mark who lives his life at a fast pace by saying “Time Ledhu” all the time. He is worried about the tasks he has to perform in the future than enjoying the present time.
