The buzz is electric as Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Bobby Kolli gear up for their next big venture. After delivering the mass-loaded blockbuster Waltair Veerayya, the hit duo is reuniting for an even bigger spectacle- #ChiruBobby2 / #Chiru158. This new film is set to be mounted on a grand canvas by producer Venkat K Narayana under the KVN Productions banner. Interestingly, the project also marks KVN’s debut in Telugu cinema, following their successful streak with high-scale ventures across different languages. With this powerhouse combination coming together again, expectations are already massive.

#Chiru158 was launched yesterday in a majestic ceremony in the presence of Power Star Pawan Kalyan and several other special guests. As announced by the makers, the film’s regular shoot begins today in Hyderabad. The team is starting with a talkie portion featuring Chiranjeevi and Anaswara Rajan, who plays a pivotal role. These portions are very crucial for the narrative.

On the occasion, the makers also released a fun behind-the-scenes video introducing the film’s key technical crew. Chiranjeevi appears in a lively mood, saying, “Let’s set the bloody benchmark,” and then playfully turns to director Bobby asking about the film’s title. When Bobby tries to dodge the question, Chiranjeevi adds a mischievous twist, joking that he might “leak the title later at the right time.” The video carries a light, humorous tone, with their easy banter adding charm while also steadily building curiosity around the project.

This time, director Bobby Kolli has crafted a story that pushes the envelope on every front. And Chiranjeevi, who has redefined screen presence for generations, is set to deliver one of his fiercest performances yet. The Megastar has undergone a remarkable transformation once again. Anaswara Rajan, too, is thrilled to be sharing screen space with him.

Backing this massive vision is a top-tier technical crew. S. Thaman, currently in blazing form, is composing the music. Cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan is shaping the film’s visual tone with his signature finesse, while Avinash Kolla handles the production design. Editing duties are managed by Antony L Ruben. The screenplay is crafted by Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy, with additional inputs from Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri. The comic writing pair Bhanu–Nandu bring their trademark flavour to the dialogues.

మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి, దర్శకుడు బాబీ కొల్లి కాంబినేషన్‌ లో #ChiruBobby2 / #Chiru158 చిత్రంపై ఇప్పటికే భారీ అంచనాలు నెలకొన్నాయి. ‘వాల్తేరు వీరయ్య’ భారీ బ్లాక్‌బస్టర్ తర్వాత ఈ విజయవంతమైన కాంబో మరోసారి చేతులు కలపడంతో అభిమానుల్లో ఉత్సాహం నెలకొంది. ప్రముఖ నిర్మాణ సంస్థ కేవీఎన్ ప్రొడక్షన్స్ బ్యానర్‌పై నిర్మాత వెంకట్ కె. నారాయణ ఈ చిత్రాన్ని అత్యంత ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. పలు భాషల్లో భారీ విజయాలు అందుకున్న కేవీఎన్ ప్రొడక్షన్స్‌కు ఇది తొలి తెలుగు చిత్రం కావడం విశేషం.

నిన్న పవర్ స్టార్ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్‌తో పాటు పలువురు ప్రముఖుల సమక్షంలో ఈ చిత్రం ఘనంగా ప్రారంభమైన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. మేకర్స్ ప్రకటించినట్లుగానే నేడు హైదరాబాద్‌లో రెగ్యులర్ షూటింగ్ ప్రారంభమైంది. తొలి షెడ్యూల్‌లో చిరంజీవి, అనస్వర రాజన్‌లపై కీలక టాకీ పార్ట్‌ను చిత్రీకరిస్తున్నారు. కథలో ఈ సన్నివేశాలుచాలా కీలకంగా ఉండబోతున్నాయి.

ఈ సందర్భంగా చిత్రబృందం బీటీఎస్ వీడియోను విడుదల చేసింది. ఇందులో సినిమా ప్రధాన సాంకేతిక బృందాన్ని పరిచయం చేశారు. వీడియోలో ఉత్సాహంగా కనిపించిన చిరంజీవి, “లెట్స్ సెట్ ది బ్లడీ బెంచ్‌మార్క్” అంటూ సందడి చేశారు. అనంతరం దర్శకుడు బాబీని సినిమా టైటిల్ గురించి అడగగా, ఆయన దాటవేయడానికి ప్రయత్నించారు. దానికి చిరంజీవి సరదాగా స్పందిస్తూ, “సరైన సమయంలో నేనే టైటిల్ లీక్ చేస్తానేమో” అంటూ చమత్కరించారు. వీరిద్దరి మధ్య జరిగిన ఈ ఫన్నీ సంభాషణ వీడియోకు ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలవడంతో పాటు సినిమాపై ఆసక్తిని మరింత పెంచింది.

దర్శకుడు బాబీ కొల్లి మరింత భారీ స్థాయిలో కథను సిద్ధం చేశారు. దశాబ్దాలుగా తన స్క్రీన్ ప్రెజెన్స్‌తో ప్రేక్షకులను అలరిస్తున్న చిరంజీవి ఈ చిత్రంలో తన కెరీర్‌లోనే అత్యంత పవర్‌ఫుల్, ఇంటెన్స్ పాత్రలో కనిపించనున్నారు. ఇందుకోసం ఆయన మరోసారి అద్భుతమైన ఫిజికల్ ట్రాన్స్‌ఫర్మేషన్ అయ్యారు. అలాగే అనస్వర రాజన్ కూడా మెగాస్టార్‌తో కలిసి నటించబోతుండటం పట్ల ఆనందం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.

ఈ భారీ ప్రాజెక్ట్‌కు టాప్ టెక్నికల్ టీం పని చేస్తోంది. సంగీతాన్ని ఎస్. థమన్ అందిస్తుండగా, సినిమాటోగ్రాఫర్ విజయ్ కార్తిక్ కన్నన్ చిత్రానికి అద్భుతమైన విజువల్స్ అందించనున్నారు. ప్రొడక్షన్ డిజైన్ అవినాశ్ కొల్లా నిర్వహిస్తుండగా, ఎడిటింగ్‌ను ఆంటోని ఎల్. రూబెన్ చేస్తున్నారు. కోన వెంకట్, కె. చక్రవర్తి రెడ్డి స్క్రీన్‌ప్లే అందిస్తుండగా, హరి మోహన కృష్ణ, వినీత్ పొట్లూరి ఆడిషినల్ స్క్రీన్‌ప్లే రచయితలుగా పనిచేస్తున్నారు. భాను–నందు ద్వయం సంభాషణలను అందిస్తున్నారు.
