The highly anticipated epic fantasy drama Gatha Vaibhavam, featuring SS Dushyanth and Ashika Ranganath in the lead roles, is all set to hit the screens on the 14th of this month. Crafted under the visionary direction of Suni, who also co-produces the film alongside Deepak Thimmappa, the project is presented through the banners of Suni Cinemas and Servegara Silver Screens. K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainment will be releasing the movie in Telugu states and also in the North America and Canada.
The film’s trailer is now out, offering a glimpse into a world that spans four distinct timelines. It opens in the Portuguese era, with the protagonist and his crew navigating a massive ship with a perilous hole. From there, it transitions to a divine romance unfolding in the celestial realms of Devaloka, then to a rustic love story set during the king’s era, before finally arriving in the present day. The narrative beautifully weaves the lead pair’s love across these eras, highlighting the unique challenges they face in each. But the question remains- will they finally come together in the present?
Suni’s ambitious vision shines through every frame of Gatha Vaibhavam, with four distinct timelines brought to life in settings that feel entirely authentic, all anchored by a timeless love story. The production design by Shivakumar, Ullas Hydur, and Raghu Mysore is remarkable, crafting unique worlds for each era. William J. David’s cinematography impresses with its visual depth, while Judah Sandhy’s evocative score perfectly captures the mood of each timeline.
SS Dushyanth and Ashika Ranganath deliver stellar performances, seamlessly adapting to their varied looks and personas across different eras, with their chemistry adding emotional weight to the narrative.
Promising a grand visual spectacle, the film features cutting-edge VFX and a multi-layered storyline that spans centuries. By blending romance, mythology, reincarnation, and period drama, Gatha Vaibhavam is set to enthrall audiences who appreciate both emotional richness and cinematic grandeur.
The trailer sets high expectations, building anticipation for the film’s arrival in just four days.
