As part of the Hari Hara Veera Mallu promotions, the film’s leading lady Nidhhi Agerwal gave an exclusive interview to Idlebrain Jeevi. She revealed that due to an agreement not to sign any other project until HHVM was completed, she had to skip a few films. However, when the chance to work on Raja Saab came up, she was permitted, and even encouraged, to take it.

Clarifying rumors, she said she is the only heroine in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and there are no cameo roles by other actresses. Managing schedules for two big projects was tough, she admitted. Initially planned as one film, the story’s vastness made the makers split it into two parts. There were no major changes from what director Krish had narrated, she confirmed.

Born and raised in Hyderabad, Nidhhi calls the city both her Janmabhoomi (birthplace) and Karmabhoomi (land of work). She compared an actress’s career to a game of Vaikunthapali (Snakes & Ladders) and spoke about how social media has become a big financial resource. She candidly mentioned that irrelevant criticism often comes from people without any purpose in life. Her 30 million Instagram followers have been a big source of opportunities, she added.

Nidhhi trained in ballet for eight years and also knows Kathak. Dance, she says, paved her way into films. For her debut film Munna Michael, which was a dance-heavy movie, she went through 10-12 auditions. Learning dance also helped her perform confidently in songs like Silaka Silaka with Ram in iSmart Shankar.

Speaking about Pawan Kalyan, she said, “On set, he is extremely focused. Despite the chaos around, he finishes his shots with utmost dedication and leaves. Fearless is the word for him. He’s truly a mystery, and now that mystery is creating history!” She expressed gratitude to Krish for introducing her as Panchami in HHVM and praised the immense hard work put in by both directors.

Producer AM Rathnam, she said, carried the entire weight of the film on his shoulders, and no other producer would have invested so much. She hopes the film becomes a massive success for his sake. The film also features Bobby Deol, though Nidhhi has fewer scenes with him and more with Pawan Kalyan, Nazar, Raghu Babu, Subbaraju, and Sunil. HHVM, she says, is a Keeravani domain film, while Raja Saab is a complete commercial entertainer with Thaman understanding the audience’s pulse.

About her co-stars, Nidhhi says both Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas are reserved, but once they warm up to someone, they’re very comfortable. She revealed Prabhas sent her vegetarian biryani, which she loved. Her first Telugu film watched was Eega, followed by Arjun Reddy, Son of Satyamurthy, Pokiri, and Gabbar Singh. She got Savyasachi after her debut film Munna Michael, and even signed Mr. Majnu before Savyasachi’s release.

Nidhhi stated that heroines rarely have control over edits, release decisions, or story changes, so tagging them for flops is unfair. “If iSmart Shankar was a hit, can I alone take the credit?” she asked. Some stories that seemed promising failed, and others she doubted turned into hits.

She believes an actor matures over time with life experiences, saying she’s evolved a lot from Savyasachi to Raja Saab. HHVM, according to her, has turned out grander than expected and must be enjoyed on the big screen, not on Instagram or Telegram. She is open to OTT projects if good stories come her way.

In North India, iSmart Shankar and Mr. Majnu have done well on YouTube, and songs like Ding Dong from her debut are still wedding favorites.

'హరిహర వీరమల్లు' ప్రమోషన్లో భాగంగా ఆ చిత్ర హీరోయిన్ నిధి అగర్వాల్ ఐడిల్ బ్రెయిన్ జీవికి ఇంటర్వ్యూ ఇచ్చారు. 'హరిహర వీరమల్లు' షూటింగ్ పూర్తయ్యే వరకూ వేరే సినిమాకు ఒప్పుకోకూడదన్న మా మధ్య జరిగిన ఒప్పందం కారణంగా కొన్ని సినిమాలు చేయలేకపోయానన్నారు. అయినా కూడా 'రాజాసాబ్' అవకాశం వచ్చినప్పుడు సంప్రదిస్తే తనను కాదనలేదని, ప్రభాస్ గారితో సినిమా చేసుకోమని చెప్పారన్నారు. 'హరిహర వీరమల్లు' సినిమాలో తనొక్కరినే కథానాయిక పాత్రలో నటిస్తున్నానని, ఇతర కథానాయికల కేమియోలు లాంటివి ఉన్నాయన్న వార్తల్లో నిజం లేదన్నారు. ఒకేసారి రెండు సినిమాలు చేయడంతో తనకు కాల్ షీట్స్ మేనేజ్ చేసుకోవడం కష్టమైందన్నారు. హరిహర వీరమల్లు మొదట్లో ఒక్క సినిమాగానే చేద్దామనుకున్నా, చెప్పాలనుకున్న కథ విస్తృతంగా ఉండటంతో రెండు భాగాలుగా ఈ సినిమా రాబోతుందన్నారు. క్రిష్ గారు చెప్పినదానిలో పెద్దగా మార్పులేమీ జరగలేదన్నారు.

'కథక్' కూడా తనకు తెలుసన్నారు. డాన్స్ నేర్చుకోవడం వల్లనే ఈరోజు ఇలా సినిమాల్లో ఉండగలిగానన్నారు. తన మొదటి సినిమా 'మున్నా మైఖేల్ ' డాన్స్ ప్రధానంగా సాగే సినిమా కావడంతో ఆ సినిమా కోసం సుమారు పది నుండి పన్నెండు ఆడిషన్స్ లో పాల్గొన్నానన్నారు. డాన్స్ నేర్చుకోవడం వల్లనే 'ఇస్మార్ట్ శంకర్' సినిమాలో 'సిలక సిలక' పాటకు హీరో రామ్ తో అంత బాగా డాన్స్ వేసే అవకాశం కలిగిందన్నారు. సెట్లో పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు చాలా ఫోకస్డ్ గా ఉంటారని, చుట్టూ ఎంతమంది ఉన్నాఎంతో శ్రద్ధగా తన షాట్స్ పూర్తి చేసేసుకొని వెళ్లిపోయేవారన్నారు. ఆయనది భయమే తెలియని నైజమన్నారు. పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు ఒక 'మిస్టరీ' అని, ఆ మిస్టరీ ఇప్పుడు 'హిస్టరీ' క్రియేట్ చేస్తుందన్నారు. 'హరిహర వీరమల్లు'లో 'పంచమి' గా తనను గుర్తించిన క్రిష్ గారికి ఋణపడే ఉంటానన్నారు. ఈ సినిమాకోసం ఇద్దరు దర్శకులూ తమ శక్తిని మొత్తం ఒడ్డే కష్టపడ్డారన్నారు. క్రిష్ గారిని ఎప్పుడు కలిసినా సరదాగా ఒకరికి ఒకరం 'హాయ్ సూపర్ స్టార్' అంటూ పలకరించుకుంటాం అన్నారు. దర్శకుడు జ్యోతి కృష్ణ గారికి టెక్నీకల్ గా ఎంతో పరిజ్ఞానం ఉందన్నారు.

ఈ సినిమా కోసం నిర్మాత AM రత్నం గారు ఎంతో కష్టపడి, తన భుజాన వేసుకొని ఈ సినిమాను మోసారని, ఇంకో నిర్మాత అయితే ఇంతలా పెట్టుబడి పెట్టేవారు కాదేమో అన్నారు. తనకంటే ఆయన కోసమే ఈ సినిమా ఇంకా పెద్ద హిట్ అవ్వాలని, తనెంతో గౌరవం ఇచ్చే అలాంటి వ్యక్తులకు మంచి జరగాలని కోరుకుంటున్నానన్నారు. ఈ సినిమాలో బాబీ డియోల్ గారికీ తనకూ మధ్య తక్కువ సీన్స్ ఉంటాయని, పవన్ కళ్యాణ్, నాజర్, రఘు, సుబ్బరాజు, సునీల్ గార్లతో ఎక్కువ సీన్స్ ఉంటాయన్నారు. 'హరిహర వీరమల్లు' కీరవాణి గారి డొమైన్ సినిమా అన్నారు. 'రాజాసాబ్' పాటల విషయానికొస్తే, థమన్ కు ప్రేక్షకుల పల్స్ బాగా తెలుసన్నారు. 'రాజాసాబ్' సినిమా ఒక కమర్షియల్ ఎంటర్టైనర్ అన్నారు.

తను కలిసి నటించిన పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు, ప్రభాస్ గారు ఇద్దరూ చాలా రిజర్వుడ్ గా ఉంటారని, కానీ తమకు ఎవరైనా ఒకసారి నచ్చితే ఎంతో కంఫర్ట్ గా ఉంటారన్నారు. తాను శాఖాహారినని, ప్రభాస్ గారు పంపిన వెజ్ బిర్యానీ తనకెంతో నచ్చిందన్నారు. తను చూసిన మొదటి సినిమా మక్కీ(తెలుగులో 'ఈగ') అని, తన చుట్టూ ఉన్న వాళ్ళు అందరూ మాట్లాడుకోవడంతో 'అర్జున్ రెడ్డి' సినిమా చూశానన్నారు. వీటితో పాటూ 'సన్ ఆఫ్ సత్యమూర్తి', 'పోకిరి', 'గబ్బర్ సింగ్' సినిమాలను కూడా చూశానన్నారు. తన మొదటి సినిమా 'మున్నా మైఖేల్' చూసి 'సవ్యసాచి' సినిమాకు అవకాశం ఇచ్చారన్నారు. 'సవ్యసాచి' రిలీజ్ అవ్వకముందే ' మిస్టర్ మజ్ను' సినిమాకు సైన్ చేశానన్నారు. సినిమాల విషయానికొస్తే ఎడిటింగ్లో గానీ, రిలీజ్ విషయాల్లో గానీ, కథా మార్పుల్లో గానీ, చాలా విషయాల్లో కథ నాయికలకు సంబంధమే ఉండదని, అలాంటప్పుడు సినిమాలు ఫ్లాప్ అయితే ఆయా హీరోయిన్లపై ఫ్లాప్ ట్యాగ్స్ వేయడం అర్ధంలేని పని అన్నారు. 'ఇస్మార్ట్ శంకర్' సినిమా హిట్ అయిందని, తన ఒక్కరి వల్లనే హిట్ అయిందని చెప్పలేను కదా అని ప్రశ్నించారు. కొన్ని కథలు విన్నప్పుడు బాగా అనిపించినా తెరపై బాగా ఆడవని, కొన్నిసార్లు సందేహమనిపించిన కథలే తెరపై సూపర్ హిట్లు అవుతుంటాయన్నారు.

కాలం నడుస్తున్న కొద్దీ, రోజువారీ జీవితంలో చూసే అనుభవాల వలన కూడా మనిషిలో వచ్చే మార్పుతో నటిగా కూడా పరిణితి వస్తుందని తానెంతో నమ్ముతానన్నారు. నాటి 'సవ్యసాచి' నుండి నేటి 'రాజాసాబ్' వరకూ నటిగా తనలో మార్పులొచ్చాయన్నారు. 'హరిహర వీరమల్లు' ఊహించిన దానికంటే అద్భుతంగా వచ్చిందని, ఇలాంటి సినిమాలు థియేటర్లలో చూస్తేనే మజా ఉంటుందని, ట్రైలర్ ని తెరపై చూసినప్పుడే ఆ విషయం అర్థమైందన్నారు. 'హరిహర వీరమల్లు' లాంటి సినిమాలను ఇన్స్టాగ్రామ్, టెలిగ్రామ్ లలో చూడవద్దని, థియేటర్ తెరపై చూస్తేనే అసలు సిసలైన మజా ఉంటుందన్నారు. మంచి కథలొస్తే OTT లో కూడా నటిస్తానన్నారు. నార్త్ ఇండియా వైపు 'ఇస్మార్ట్ శంకర్' సినిమాతో పాటూ 'మిస్టర్ మజ్ను' సినిమా కూడా యూట్యూబ్ లో బాగా ఆడిందన్నారు. నార్త్ లో ఇప్పటికీ తన మొదటి సినిమా 'మున్నా మైఖేల్' లో 'డింగ్ డాంగ్' పాటకు చాలా పెళ్లిళ్లలో డాన్స్ చేస్తారన్నారు.
