S Krishna, known for his association with blockbuster hit machine Anil Ravipudi and his contribution as a co-writer to several blockbusters, is making his directorial debut with HIGH. He has also written the film and plays a key role in it, while serving as a co-producer alongside Harish Peddi and Sekhar Divvela. Backed by Imagespark Entertainment and Myra Creations, the film promises an engaging blend of emotions, drama, and high-energy moments. The film features Ananya Sharma, S Krishna, Pallavi Dora, Krishna Kamal, Sai Krishna, and Revanth (Bulliraju) in important roles.
The makers of the movie have officially announced November 27 as the film’s worldwide theatrical release date. The release date poster grabs attention with its striking red backdrop, radiating patterns, and vibrant turquoise streaks that create a dynamic, comic-book-inspired visual style.
The poster features the lead characters displaying a distinct expression. Bulliraju at the top centre reaches forward with an intense expression, while the female characters on the left played by Pallavi Dora and Ananya Sharma bring contrasting shades to the composition. On the right, Krishna Kamal and Sai Krishna strike different poses, whereas S Krishna appears prominently in the lower-right corner, adding weight to the ensemble presentation. The overall design conveys youthful energy, an unconventional tone, and the varied personalities at the heart of the story.
HIGH explores how different individuals seek their own versions of a high through emotional, psychological, and moral choices. One-character wishes to end her life, another seeks pleasure through money and alcohol, while a young woman finds strength in reclaiming her self-respect. Her lover, meanwhile, pursues the thrill of dangerous bets. Through these interconnected stories, the film examines how life’s most meaningful highs come from making the right choices rather than taking destructive paths.
The film’s previously unveiled teaser showcased S Krishna’s bold storytelling approach, supported by intense performances from the cast. The film's content will largely appeal to Gen Z audience. Cinematography is handled by Mallu Nayak and Suneel Reddy, while Vikasa Badisa provides the music. GRK Saran Ravula is the editor, and V Venkat choreographs the action sequences.
With its worldwide theatrical release now locked, the makers are planning to intensify the promotional activities.
