The English-Telugu bilingual feature "How is that for a Monday?" is screening at the prestigious Regal LA LIVE theater in Los Angeles this Sunday (16th of October) as part of the 13th Awareness Film Festival, and at TVGB's media arts space in Santa Ana the following week as part of the OC Film Fiesta.

Speaking of the movie, the writer-director Sripal Sama said that it is a subject inspired by the socio-economic changes that took place in the United States in the aftermath of the pandemic. Co-written by Saipraneeth Gouravaraju, the movie stars Kaushik Ghantasala (Brochevarevura and BTech fame), Candido Carter, Keegan Guy, Elester Latham, Megan Barlow among others, and is sound mixed by Hollywood veteran Scott Wolf. FTII Pune graduates Rahul Biruly worked as the director of photography, Raghavender Vuppuganti (Mallesham fame) edited the film and Dawn Vincent wrote the score.

The story takes place on a fateful Monday as the events unfold among an Indian techie living in America, a team of amateur gangsters, a billionaire, and an old man. While it has serious and relevant underlying themes, it is also a funny and gripping movie to watch, the team shared. The movie was a part of the Official Selections for the 18th Chennai International Film Festival, Santa Monica Film Festival and Festival Angaelica among others and won a special Jury award at Festival Angaelica.
