Aniesh Packs A Punch In Debut, Venky Kudumula, What Next Entertainments, Mahesh Uppala’s Itlu Arjuna Teaser Is Humorously Thrilling & Uniquely Adventurous; Theatrical Release On October 30
Young talent Aniesh is making his debut with Itlu Arjuna, a promising new-age entertainer that marks the directorial debut of Mahesh Uppala. The project is being introduced under What Next Entertainments, the production house launched by successful filmmaker Venky Kudumula. The makers have now unveiled the film’s teaser.
The teaser opens with the protagonist, a mute young man, trying to communicate something to the people around him. Although he has a lot to say, nobody seems to understand what he is trying to convey. He has a simple yet heartfelt wish-list: to shake hands with Keerthy, whom he is in love with, see her up close, and speak to her. Interestingly, she is the only person who understands what he is trying to communicate. Adding to the intrigue, both the police and a group of goons are seen searching for this mysterious “New Guy in Town,” hinting at an intriguing turn in his journey.
Taking on such a challenging role in his very first film requires considerable conviction, and Aniesh makes a strong impression as a mute protagonist. What makes the character even more interesting is the way he has been conceived and portrayed- with a humorous touch, abundant energy, and an endearing personality. The youngster who already proved his dancing skills, is equally good in action part, with his enthusiasm shown in chasing sequences. Anaswara Rajan looks charming as his love interest, and the chemistry between the lead pair works wonderfully.
Director Mahesh Uppala earns brownie points for his clever writing and engaging presentation. He has struck a fine balance between humour, emotion, and thrills, keeping the narrative intriguing throughout the teaser. The film also benefits from a technically accomplished team. Raja Mahadehav’s cinematography gives the visuals a stylish and vibrant appeal, while S Thaman’s music effectively complements both the comic and thrilling moments. The New Guy In Town theme adds extra zing.
The production values from What Next Entertainments look polished, with Raam Kumar A handling the production design and Koti K taking care of the editing. Renowned action choreographer Dileep Subbarayan adds further punch with the stunt choreography.
Itlu Arjuna has certainly created strong curiosity with its teaser and is gearing up for a theatrical release on October 30th.
