Manchu Manoj’s reaction after watching Kannappa came as a relief to fans of the Manchu family. While his tweet yesterday mentioned everyone from Prabhas to Akshay Kumar and Prabhu Deva, he notably did not mention his brother Manchu Vishnu. He praised their father Mohan Babu, saying he had worked hard for years on Kannappa and expressed his hope for the film’s grand success.
In return, during the Kannappa press meet yesterday, when a journalist brought up Manoj’s tweet, Vishnu dodged the question and did not offer a response.
However, with today’s developments, Manchu family fans feel there might be a chance for the strained relations within the family to ease. Manoj praised Kannappa, saying the film was very well made, and that Prabhas’s entry took the film to the next level. He called the climax outstanding and admitted, “I didn’t expect my brother Vishnu to act so well.”
Speaking about their father Mohan Babu, he said, “Do I even need to speak about his performance? He was phenomenal.” Manoj added that he’s praying for the film to do well and recover its investment. “I missed the first five minutes of the film today,” he said, “and I’m going again tomorrow just to watch those five minutes.”
