‘Kantara Chapter 1’ is creating a storm at the box office. Ever since its release, the film has been receiving highly positive talk and racing towards massive collections. Written, directed, and acted by Rishab Shetty, the movie is produced by Hombale Films, with music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath. Actress Rukmini Vasanth, who plays the female lead, has added great strength to the film with her beauty and remarkable performance.
Recently, the production house officially released the collection details. In just two weeks, the film has grossed over ₹717 crores worldwide. From the two Telugu states alone, it has collected more than ₹105 crores gross so far. The film is also performing exceptionally well overseas, grossing over 4.5 million dollars in North America alone - an impressive feat.
So far, KGF Chapter 2 remains the highest-grossing Kannada film ever, but with these phenomenal collections, Kantara Chapter 1 is rapidly closing in and is on track to join the list of top-grossing Kannada films of all time.

తాజాగా ఈ చిత్ర నిర్మాణ సంస్థ 'కాంతార చాప్టర్ 1' కలక్షన్ల వివరాలను అధికారికంగా విడుదల చేసింది. విడుదలైన రెండు వారాల్లో ఈ చిత్రం 717 కోట్లకు పైగా గ్రాస్ సాధించినట్టు ఆ సంస్థ తెలిపింది. మొత్తంగా రెండు తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో కలిపి ఇప్పటివరకూ ఈ సినిమా 105 కోట్లకు పైగా గ్రాస్ రాబట్టుకుంది. విదేశాల్లో సైతం ఈ చిత్రం అదిరిపోయే కలక్షన్లు రాబట్టుకుంటుంది. కేవలం నార్త్ అమెరికాలోనే 4.5 మిలియన్ డాలర్లకు పైగా వసూళ్లు సాధించడం గమనార్హం. ఇంతవరకూ అత్యధిక వసూళ్లు సాధించిన కన్నడ చిత్రాల జాబితాలో 'కేజీఎఫ్ 2' మొదటిస్థానంలో ఉంది. తాజాగా 'కాంతార చాప్టర్ 1' కూడా భారీ కలక్షన్లతో దూసుకుపోవడంతో అత్యధిక వసూళ్లు సాధించిన కన్నడ సినిమాల జాబితాలో 'కాంతార చాప్టర్ 1' కూడా చేరే అవకాశాలు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి.
