Sundeep Kishan is playing the lead in Karikaala, an ambitious cinematic venture directed by Shambhala fame Ugandhar Muni and produced by Mahidhar Reddy and Rajasekhar Annabhimoju under the Shining Pictures banner. Following the success of Shambhala, the director and producers are gearing up to create another visual spectacle with this ambitious project.
The makers have planned Karikaala as a two-part film, with the first chapter scheduled for release on July 2, 2027, and the second chapter arriving in theatres on October 28, 2027. The posters unveiled so far have generated considerable buzz and heightened curiosity about the film.
Recently, the makers announced that Catherine Tresa and Sakshi Mhadolkar would be part of the project. Now, Gayatri Bhardwaj has joined the cast in a pivotal role. Welcoming her on board, the Karikaala team unveiled a special poster announcing her inclusion in the film.
Mounted on a grand scale, Karikaala is envisioned as a pan-Indian spectacle featuring world-class technology, cutting-edge visual effects, spectacular production design, and compelling storytelling. The team is striving to deliver a distinctive socio-fantasy experience for audiences across India.
The film’s music is being composed by Sricharan Pakala. The grand pooja ceremony for Karikaala is scheduled to take place on October 15, with several prominent personalities expected to attend the auspicious occasion.
