Reports about national-award winning actress Keerthy Suresh tying the knot with long term boyfriend-businessman Antony Thattil have been doing the rounds for over a week. While the actress chose to remain mum, on Wednesday though she confirmed the obvious by taking to her social media pages.
She wrote on her Facebook page, “15 years and counting. It has always been… AntoNY x KEerthy (Iykyk).” In the picture, the couple has its back to the camera, while pointing towards fireworks in the sky. It appears the picture is taken from Diwali night.
According to reports, the couple has been in love since Keerthy was in high school and Antony was pursuing his undergraduate at a college in Kochi. Anthony, an engineer by profession, has worked in Qatar in the past, and later returned to Kochi to establish a business of his own.
The wedding will be a destination affair, to be held in Goa on December 11 and 12, with only family members of both sides and friends in attendance.
Reports added that Keerthy, who is the daughter of Malayalam producer G Suresh Kumar and Tamil actress Menaka, will continue to act in films post marriage.
Keerthy was last seen in the Tamil film Raghu Thatha, directed by Suman Kumar. She is all set to make a splash in Bollywood with Baby John opposite Varun Dhawan. It is scheduled to release on December 25. In Telugu, she was last seen in Bhola Shankar, where she played the role of a sister to megastar Chiranjeevi. Earlier this year, she gave her voice for the AI supercar Bujji in Kalki 2898 AD.
