As part of promotions for the film Junior, actor Kireeti gave an interview to Idlebrain’s Jeevi. Throughout the interview, he responded humbly to all questions. He said that although his family, the Rajkumar family of Karnataka, is widely known and respected, he has always been inspired by how grounded they remain—and he learned to be humble by watching them.
Kireeti revealed that he met with an accident while shooting a fight sequence, which left him bedridden for four months, leading to a one-year delay in the film’s release. He also mentioned that compared to him, Sai Dharam Tej’s willpower is incredible, and that’s what helped Tej recover quickly from his accident.
He expressed that he has been a massive fan of Jr. NTR since childhood—especially of his songs even more than his movies. During the shoot, music director Devi Sri Prasad motivated and encouraged him constantly.
Even when facing negative trolls, Kireeti said he remains unaffected, choosing to look at everything positively. Regardless of one's family background, he believes one must work hard to survive in the film industry, and he is confident he will earn the love of audiences.
He also shared that Sreeleela performed her role in Junior without any ropes for support during stunts, and that’s why they released the BTS video of "Viral Vayyari" to showcase her dedication. He said he attended workshops in the UK to learn screen acting.
Although he comes from a political family, Kireeti stated he has no interest in joining politics. He speaks Kannada with his father and Telugu with his mother. He also dubbed his own voice in the Telugu version of Junior.
Kireeti said he loved Pushpa, and his favorite song is “Naire Naire” from Andhrawala. Among Jr. NTR’s films, Temper is his top pick, and he considers the courtroom climax scene in Temper a benchmark performance, saying no actor has matched NTR’s intensity in that scene. He hasn’t had a chance to meet Jr. NTR in person yet.
He concluded by saying that Genelia’s comeback in Junior will be outstanding.
