The Merlapaka Gandhi directorial venture produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments has stayed remarkably steady in its second week, with the extended Independence Day holiday further boosting its collections. After 10 days at the box office, the film has registered a worldwide gross of 50.30 crore+.
More importantly, Korean Kanakaraju has already moved into the profit zone across all territories. Having reached breakeven in its first weekend alone, the film is now turning in healthy returns for its producers, distributors, and exhibitors.
The sustained theatrical momentum is a result of the film’s strong audience connect, particularly its comedy, lively entertainment and the performances of the lead cast. Varun Tej’s distinctive portrayal has also emerged as one of the film’s key attractions, other than Satya’s comic timing.
