Successful actor Kiran Abbavaram is starring in the upcoming film K-Ramp. This movie is being jointly produced by renowned production houses Hasya Movies and Rudransh Celluloid, with rising producers Razesh Danda and Shiva Bommak backing the project. Jains Nani is directing the film, which is set for a grand theatrical release on October 18, coinciding with the Diwali festival. In an interview held today, director Jains Nani shared the highlights of the film.

He said, “We chose the title K-Ramp because it suits the story. We never thought of it as a vulgar term. The hero’s name in the film is Kumar. According to the story, his character goes through various challenges. Everyone knows the term 'ramp', and we felt it aligned well with the character and storyline. Though we considered other titles initially, this one felt catchy and easily memorable.”

He added, “Don’t assume the movie is inappropriate just because a couple of lines in the trailer felt edgy. This is very much a family film. But we always aim to attract the youth audience first. That’s the strategy behind the trailer cut. Once youth like the film, they’ll bring along their families. The story is something every audience can relate to. Parents must watch this film. Some movies only have ‘moments’, but K-Ramp has a solid story, and we’ve designed engaging sequences around it. The interval block will be a surprise.”

Speaking about his background, he said, “I studied at IIT Madras, and while I was there, I made short films. They were well-received, which gave me confidence to step into Tollywood. But cinema has been my passion since childhood. I’ve spent a year and a half working with Kiran Abbavaram. Once he okayed the story, we refined the script based on his body language and energy. During the scripting stage, Kiran shared his thoughts, but never interfered with the story or script. We shot exactly what we planned, with no wastage, and completed filming in 47 days.”

“For the heroine’s role, we chose Yukti and put her through workshops. We rehearsed all key scenes before heading to the shoot. Yukti perfectly fit the character. Both the hero and heroine have strong scope for performance. Audiences will enjoy the film thoroughly if they follow their character arcs. The first half focuses more on the hero’s character, while the second half highlights the heroine’s role.”

“To bring freshness to the story, we chose a Kerala backdrop. A short while into the film, the story shifts to Kerala. This move brings in new visuals, local flavor, and language elements that help create humor. Even the background score incorporates local Kerala styles. We shot most of the film in a beautiful college in Kerala, and were lucky to find the perfect location. We also filmed in scenic spots across the state.”

“Our film features three songs. We didn’t want to disrupt the story’s flow with too many songs. The background score will be a major highlight, and audiences will enjoy it in theatres. There’s tough competition at the box office this Diwali, but our teaser and trailer have received a great response. We wish success for all films, but we hope ours becomes a bigger hit. We’re inviting people to the theatres for fun, and that fun is guaranteed throughout. We’re not stressed about the result, because we’ve watched the film many times during post-production and are confident about the entertainment it delivers. Audiences will thoroughly enjoy it. Kamalini Jethmalani plays a small guest role, with hilarious scenes alongside Naresh. Personally, I love energetic, fun-filled films. Some new projects are under discussion, and I’ll share details after K-Ramp releases.”

సక్సెస్ ఫుల్ హీరో కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం నటిస్తున్న కొత్త సినిమా "K-ర్యాంప్". ఈ సినిమాను ప్రముఖ నిర్మాణ సంస్థ హాస్య మూవీస్, రుద్రాంశ్ సెల్యులాయిడ్ బ్యానర్‌ల మీద రైజింగ్ ప్రొడ్యూసర్ రాజేష్ దండ, శివ బొమ్మకు సంయుక్తంగా నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. - "K-ర్యాంప్" అనే టైటిల్ ఈ కథకు సరిపోతుందనే పెట్టాం. బూతు పదం అని ఆలోచించలేదు. ఈ చిత్రంలో హీరో క్యారెక్టర్ పేరు కుమార్. కథానుసారం అతని క్యారెక్టర్ ఇబ్బందుల్లో పడుతుంది. ర్యాంప్ అనే మాట మనందరికీ తెలుసు. అలా కథకు, హీరో క్యారెక్టరైజేషన్ కు సరిపోయేలా "K-ర్యాంప్" అని పెట్టాం. ముందు వేరే టైటిల్స్ అనుకున్నా, ఇదే క్యాచీగా ఉంది, త్వరగా ప్రేక్షకుల్లోకి వెళ్తుందని అనిపించింది.

"K-ర్యాంప్" సినిమా ట్రైలర్ చూసి ఒకట్రెండు మాటలు ఇబ్బందిగా ఉన్నాయని అనుకోవద్దు. ఇది పక్కాగా ఫ్యామిలీస్ చూడాల్సిన సినిమా. ఏ సినిమాకైనా ముందు యూత్ ఆడియెన్స్ ను అట్రాక్ట్ చేయాలని ప్రయత్నిస్తాం. ఆ ప్రయత్నంలో భాగంగానే ట్రైలర్ కట్ చేశాం. యూత్ ఆడియెన్స్ కు నచ్చితే వాళ్లే ఫ్యామిలీ ఆడియెన్స్ ను తీసుకొస్తారు. ప్రతి ఆడియెన్ రిలేట్ అయ్యేలా ఈ స్టోరీ ఉంటుంది. పేరెంట్స్ ఈ సినిమా చూడాలి. కొన్ని సినిమాల్లో మూవ్ మెంట్స్ మాత్రమే ఉంటాయి, కానీ "K-ర్యాంప్" లో మంచి కథ ఉంది. దాంతో పాటే మూవ్ మెంట్స్ డిజైన్ చేశాం. ఇంటర్వెల్ బ్లాక్ సర్ ప్రైజ్ చేస్తుంది.

నేను మద్రాస్ ఐఐటీలో చదువుకున్నా. అక్కడ ఉన్నప్పుడే షార్ట్ ఫిలింస్ చేశాను. అవి బాగున్నాయని పేరొచ్చింది. వాటితో వచ్చిన కాన్ఫిడెన్స్ తో టాలీవుడ్ కు వచ్చాను. అయితే సినిమాలంటే చిన్నప్పటి నుంచే ప్యాషన్ ఉండేది. కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం గారితో ఏడాదిన్నర ట్రావెల్ చేశాను. కథ ఓకే అయ్యాక ఆయన బాడీ లాంగ్వేజ్ , ఎనర్జీని బట్టి స్క్రిప్ట్ లో బెటర్ మెంట్స్ చేసుకున్నాం. స్క్రిప్ట్ స్టేజీలో తనకు అనిపించింది కిరణ్ గారు షేర్ చేసుకునేవారు అంతేగానీ ఆయన కథ, స్క్రిప్ట్ విషయంలో ఎక్కడా జోక్యం చేసుకోలేదు. ఎక్కడా వేస్టేజ్ లేకుండా అనుకున్నది అనుకున్నట్లుగా 47 డేస్ లో షూటింగ్ చేశాం.

హీరోయిన్ క్యారెక్టర్ కోసం యుక్తిని అనుకున్న తర్వాత వర్క్ షాప్ చేయించాం. సినిమాలోని కీ సీన్స్ అన్నీ రిహార్సల్స్ చేసి పక్కాగా షూటింగ్ కు వెళ్లాం. ఈ చిత్రంలోని పాత్రకు యుక్తి పర్పెక్ట్ గా సెట్ అయ్యింది. హీరో హీరోయిన్స్ క్యారెక్టర్స్ కు పర్ ఫార్మెన్స్ పరంగా చాలా స్కోప్ ఉన్న కథ ఇది. కిరణ్ గారికి, యుక్తికి మంచి పేరొస్తుంది. హీరో హీరోయిన్ క్యారెక్టరైజేషన్స్ ఫాలో అయితే మూవీని ఆద్యంతం ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తారు. ఫస్టాఫ్ లో హీరో క్యారెక్టర్ , సెకండాఫ్ లో హీరోయిన్ క్యారెక్టర్ ఎంటర్ టైన్ చేస్తుంది.

ఫ్రెష్ నెస్ కోసమే కేరళ బ్యాక్ డ్రాప్ తీసుకున్నాం. సినిమా ప్రారంభమైన కొద్దిసేపటికే కథ కేరళకు షిప్ట్ అవుతుంది. కొత్త ప్లేస్ కు వెళ్లడం వల్ల సినిమాకు కొత్త విజువల్స్ యాడ్ అవుతాయి, అక్కడ నేటివిటీ, లాంగ్వేజ్ ఉపయోగపడుతుంది. ఫన్ క్రియేట్ అవుతుంది. బీజీఎంలోనూ అక్కడి స్టైల్ సౌండ్ వాడుకోవచ్చు అనిపించింది. కేరళలోని ఓ మంచి కాలేజ్ లొకేషన్ లో ఎక్కువ భాగం షూటింగ్ చేశాం. లక్కీగా మంచి కాలేజ్ దొరికింది. అలాగే కేరళలోని బ్యూటిఫుల్ లొకేషన్స్ లో చిత్రీకరణ జరిపాం.

మా చిత్రంలో మూడు సాంగ్స్ ఉంటాయి. కథ ఫ్లోను డిస్ట్రబ్ చేయొద్దనే ఎక్కువ పాటలు పెట్టలేదు. బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ హైలైట్ అవుతుంది. థియేటర్ లో బీజీఎంను ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తారు. దీపావళికి మన బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద కాంపిటేషన్ ఉంది. అయితే మా టీజర్, ట్రైలర్ కు మంచి రెస్పాన్స్ వచ్చింది. అన్ని సినిమాలు హిట్ కావాలి. మాది ఇంకొంచెం పెద్ద హిట్ కావాలి. మేము ఫన్ కోసం మా సినిమాకు రమ్మని చెబుతున్నాం. ఆ ఫన్ మాత్రం ఎక్కడా మిస్ కాదు. సినిమా రిజల్ట్ కోసం ఒత్తిడికి లోనుకావడం లేదు. ఎందుకంటే పోస్ట్ ప్రొడక్షన్ టైమ్ లో ఎన్నోసార్లు మూవీ చూసుకున్నాం కాబట్టి మంచి ఫన్, ఎంటర్ టైన్ మెంట్ గ్యారెంటీ అనే నమ్మకంతో ఉన్నాం. ఫుల్ గా ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తారు. కామ్నా జెఠ్మలానీ చిన్న గెస్ట్ రోల్ చేశారు. నరేష్ గారితో ఆమెకు కాంబినేషన్ సీన్స్ ఉంటాయి. ఈ సీన్స్ హిలేరియస్ గా వచ్చాయి. నాకు ఎనర్జీతో ఉండే ఫన్ మూవీస్ అంటే ఇష్టం. కొన్ని ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ కు డిస్కషన్స్ జరుగుతున్నాయి. "K-ర్యాంప్" రిలీజ్ తర్వాత వాటి వివరాలు వెల్లడిస్తా.
