With his last film Valliddari Madhya getting a cold response, VN Aditya of Manasantha Nuvve and Nenunnanu fame is testing his luck again with the forthcoming release, Love@65, starring Natakireeti Rajendra Prasad and the evergreen Jayaprada. People Media Factory has produced the flick, whose trailer was dropped on Friday.
The one-minute-eight-second trailer opens with an elderly couple–Aadhi, 70 (Rajendra Prasad), and Kaveri, 65 (Jayaprada), –eloping from a colony, while cops visit the colony to investigate what has transpired. Turns out, the elderly folks are in love. Aaadhi, who respects the wishes of others, believes the time has arrived for him to finally enjoy his life. The trailer later cuts to how Aadhi has swept Kaveri off her feet at his age. At one point, he says if the world rejects their love, he will disown the world. It ends with Aadhi planting a kiss on the cheek of Kaveri and remaining as if nothing had happened. Overall, the trailer primarily seems to focus on the events that come to light after they elope.
Packed with drama and humour, Love@65 promises a heartwarming tale of two people who find love at a late time in their lives and how societal pressure ensures that they have no option but to flee the place where they are staying to take their bond to the next level. Rajendra Prasad is at his usual best, while his chemistry with Jayaprada is pleasing to the eyes.
Also featuring Karthik Raju, Spandhana, Krish, Nihanthri Reddy, Narayana Rao, Pradeep, Sai Srinivas and Preethi Nigam, with cameos from Sunil and Ajay, the film is an Anup Rubens musical.
