Rocking Star Manchu Manoj is making a powerful return to the big screen with the film Mirai, in which he plays a dynamic and intense role named Black Sword. The film is set for a pan-India release on September 12. A grand pre-release event was recently held in Visakhapatnam, and Manoj’s heartfelt speech at the event became one of the highlights.

Speaking at the event, Manchu Manoj said, "I have a deep connection with Visakhapatnam. Many of my earlier films like Sri, Raju Bhai, Bindaas, Nenu Meeku Telusa, and Vedam were shot here. So, I’m very happy that the Mirai pre-release event is being held in this beloved city. I sincerely thank everyone who came here just for me. Whether my movies succeed or not, your love has always been constant, and that means the world to me."

"When I had a gap in my career, many fans kept asking me, 'When’s your next film coming out?' That created a lot of pressure - I wanted to pick a film that would justify their faith in me. Some scripts I liked, but the producers didn’t. Some producers liked scripts I didn’t believe in. Nothing really materialized. And then, at that crucial time, Karthik Ghattamaneni narrated the story of Mirai. I felt like touching his feet for bringing me such a powerful project - but he’s younger than me, so I couldn’t! I immediately knew this was the right film for my comeback."

"Just like Thanos in Avengers, my character Black Sword in Mirai will leave a strong impact. In fact, there are some similarities between me and the character. Like me, Black Sword doesn’t care about caste or religion. He cannot stand injustice - if someone tries to demean another human being, he won’t tolerate it. According to the story, until he finds the nine sacred books, no one can stand in his way - he’ll cut through anyone who tries."

"It doesn’t matter what role an actor plays - what matters is how much they impress the audience. Just like Baahubali brought recognition to everyone who was part of it, I believe a good film can do the same."

"Producer Vishwaprasad garu believed in the script and never compromised in making Mirai the best it could be. I even dubbed for the film myself in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Teja Sajja is a hardworking hero, and I hope Mirai turns into a big franchise with many sequels. While making this film, director Karthik once told me, ‘Anna, once you obtain all nine books, you will have to face Lord Rama.’ That scared me - I’m a devotee of Rama, how can I fight him? But he explained that if Black Sword gets all nine books, he transforms into Ravanaasura, and that naturally leads to a clash with Lord Rama."

Karthik has done deep research, drawing from mythology to craft this script. And alongside Mirai, this month also sees the release of our Power Star and my favourite Pawan Kalyan annaya's OG and Bellamkonda Sai’s Kishkindhpuri. I genuinely wish all these films great success."

రాకింగ్ స్టార్ మంచు మనోజ్ "మిరాయ్" చిత్రంతో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రాబోతున్నారు. ఈ చిత్రంలో ఆయన బ్లాక్ స్వార్డ్ అనే పవర్ ఫుల్ క్యారెక్టర్ లో నటించారు. ఈ నెల 12న "మిరాయ్" సినిమా పాన్ ఇండియా రిలీజ్ కు రెడీ అవుతోంది. తాజాగా ఈ చిత్ర ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ వైజాగ్ లో ఘనంగా జరిగింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంచు మనోజ్ స్పీచ్ హైలైట్ గా మారింది.

మంచు మనోజ్ మాట్లాడుతూ - వైజాగ్ తో నాకు ఎంతో అనుబంధం ఉంది. శ్రీ, రాజు భాయ్, బిందాస్, నేను మీకు తెలుసా, వేదం వంటి నా చిత్రాలన్నీ వైజాగ్ లోనే షూటింగ్ చేశాం. "మిరాయ్" ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ ఈ నగరంలోనే జరుపుకోవడం సంతోషంగా ఉంది. నాకోసం ఈవెంట్ కు వచ్చిన అందరికీ థ్యాంక్స్. నా సినిమాలు ఆడినా ఆడకున్నా మీరు నన్ను ఎప్పుడూ లవ్ చేస్తూనే ఉన్నారు. నేను చెట్టు పేరు చెప్పి అమ్ముకోవడానికి నేను కాయ, పండు కాదు. నా కెరీర్ లో గ్యాప్ వచ్చినప్పుడు నన్ను ఇష్టపడేవారంతా ఎప్పుడు నెక్ట్స్ మూవీ చేస్తారని అడిగేవారు. వాళ్ల కోసం ఎలాంటి సినిమా చేయాలనే ఒత్తిడికి లోనయ్యా. కొన్ని ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ నాకు నచ్చితే ప్రొడ్యూసర్స్ కు నచ్చేవి కావు అలా ఏదీ సరైన మూవీ మెటీరియలైజ్ కాలేదు. అలాంటి టైమ్ లో కార్తీక్ ఘట్టమనేని మిరాయ్ స్టోరీ చెప్పాడు. ఇంత గొప్ప ప్రాజెక్ట్ నా దగ్గరకు తీసుకొచ్చినందుకు అతనికి పాదాభివందనం చేయాలనిపించింది. కానీ నాకంటే చిన్నవాడు. నా కమ్ బ్యాక్ మూవీకి "మిరాయ్" కరెక్ట్ అని అప్పుడే ఫిక్స్ అయ్యాను. అవేంజర్స్ లో థానోస్ లా ఈ చిత్రంలో నా బ్లాక్ స్వార్డ్ క్యారెక్టర్ ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. నాకూ బ్లాక్ స్వార్డ్ క్యారెక్టర్ కు కొన్ని దగ్గరి పోలికలు ఉన్నాయి. నాలాగే బ్లాక్ స్వార్డ్ కు కూడా కుల మతాలు తెలియవు. ఎవరైనా సాటి మనిషిని తక్కువ చేసి మాట్లాడితే ఊరుకోడు. ఈ కథ ప్రకారం 9 పుస్తకాలు దొరికేవరకు ఎదురు ఎవరు వచ్చినా నరికేస్తా వెళ్తాడు. నటుడు ఏ పాత్ర చేశాడు అనేది ముఖ్యం కాదు ఎంతగా ప్రేక్షకుల్ని మెప్పించాడు అనేది ముఖ్యం. బాహుబలిలా ఒక మంచి చిత్రం చేస్తే అందులో నటించిన అందరికీ పేరొస్తుంది. స్క్రిప్ట్ ను, ప్రాజెక్ట్ ను నమ్మి విశ్వప్రసాద్ గారు అన్ కాంప్రమైజ్డ్ గా "మిరాయ్" సినిమాను నిర్మించారు. తెలుగుతో పాటు తమిళం, మలయాళం, కన్నడ, హిందీలో కూడా నేనే డబ్బింగ్ చెప్పాను. తేజ సజ్జ కష్టపడే హీరో. మిరాయ్ కు ఇంకా అనేక సీక్వెల్స్ చేయాలని కోరుకుంటున్నా. ఈ సినిమా చేసేప్పుడు డైరెక్టర్ కార్తీక్ నాతో చెప్పాడు, అన్నా మీ చేతికి తొమ్మిది పుస్తకాలు వస్తే నెక్ట్స్ మీరు శ్రీరాముడితో తలపడాల్సిఉంటుంది అన్నాడు. నేను రాముడి భక్తుడిని ఆయనతో తలపడటమేంటి అని భయపడ్డా. 9 పుస్తకాలు మీ చేతికి వస్తే బ్లాక్ స్వార్డ్ రావణాసురుడు అవుతాడు. అప్పుడు శ్రీరాముడితో పోటీ పడాల్సివస్తుంది. పురణాల నుంచి ఎంతో విషయం సేకరించి ఈ స్క్రిప్ట్ చేశాడు డైరెక్టర్ కార్తీక్. మాతో పాటు ఈ నెలలోనే నేను ప్రేమించే మా పవర్ స్టార్ ఓజీ కూడా థియేటర్స్ లోకి వస్తోంది. అలాగే బెల్లంకొండ సాయి కిష్కిందపురి రిలీజ్ అవుతోంది. అన్ని చిత్రాలు విజయం సాధించాలని కోరుకుంటున్నా. అన్నారు.
