The anticipation surrounding Adivi Sesh’s much-awaited flick Dacoit hit a fever pitch post the release of a powerful glimpse that introduced the main characters and also the conflict of the movie. Set against the backdrop of a gripping love-revenge narrative, the movie is directed by debutant Shaniel Deo.

The makers today released a new poster featuring Mrunal Thakur in a commanding and emotionally layered avatar. Timed with Mrunal Thakur’s birthday, she is seen aiming a gun with razor-sharp focus, her expression a blend of determination, pain, and fierce resilience. Subtle bruises and tears in her eyes hint at the emotional weight her character carries. Juliet isn’t just a love interest, she’s the emotional fulcrum of this revenge saga.

Mrunal's portrayal as Juliet is no ordinary heroine; she’s at the heart of the chaos, caught between vulnerability and vengeance. The team is currently shooting key scenes involving lead cast in Hyderabad.

Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang, Dacoit is a big-canvas cinematic venture presented by Annapurna Studios. Bheems Ceciroleo scored the music for the movie.

Set for a grand theatrical release this Christmas, on December 25, 2025, Dacoit is shaping up to be a high-stakes ride of passion, betrayal, and redemption.

అడివి శేష్ మోస్ట్ అవైటెడ్ మూవీ 'డకాయిట్' లీడ్ క్యారెక్టర్స్ ని పరిచయం చేసిన పవర్ గ్లింప్స్ రిలీజ్ తో హ్యుజ్ బజ్ క్రియేట్ చేసింది. ప్రేమ-ప్రతీకార కథనం నేపథ్యంలో రూపొందిన ఈ చిత్రానికి నూతన దర్శకుడు షానియల్ డియో దర్శకత్వం వహించారు.

ఈరోజు మేకర్స్ మృణాల్ ఠాకూర్ బర్త్‌డే సందర్భంగా ఆమెను పవర్‌ఫుల్ అండ్ ఇమోషనల్ అవతార్‌లో చూపిస్తూ ఓ ఇంటెన్స్ పోస్టర్‌ను రిలీజ్ చేశారు. పోస్టర్‌లో మృణాల్ చేతిలో గన్ పట్టుకొని ఎయిమ్ చేస్తూ కనిపిస్తుంది. ఆమె కళ్ళల్లో ఆక్రోశం, బాధ, ఫైటింగ్ స్పిరిట్ అన్నీ ఒక్కటే టైంలో కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. ముఖంపై చిన్న చిన్న గాయాలు, కన్నీళ్లు ఆమె పాత్రకు ఉన్న ఎమోషనల్ వెయిట్ ని సూచిస్తున్నాయి.

ఈ కథలో జూలియెట్ కేవలం లవ్ ఇంటరెస్ట్ కాదు, రివెంజ్ డ్రామాకి సెంట్రల్ క్యారెక్టర్. మృణాల్ పోషించిన జూలియట్ పాత్ర తెలుగులో ఇప్పటివరకు చూసిన హీరోయిన్ల కంటే వేరే లెవెల్లో ఉంటుంది.

ప్రస్తుతం హైదరాబాద్లో ఈ సినిమాకి సంబంధించి లీడ్ యాక్టర్స్ తో కీలక సన్నివేశాల్ని చిత్రీకరిస్తున్నారు.
