Leading production house Mythri Movie Makers has a lot on their plate next year. From Jr NTR’s next with Prashanth Neel to Prabhas’ next with Hanu Raghavadupi to Vijay Deverakonda’s next with Rahul Sankrityan, the production house will be associating with some of the biggest anticipated ventures of the year. Not to forget their on-sets hotly awaited films like Pushpa: The Rule and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
Amid all these projects, the production house, idlebrain.com has exclusively learnt, has taken time to green-lit a small love story. Sources say it will be helmed by Phanindra Narsetti who made everyone sit up and take notice of his explosive potential with 2018 experimental romantic thriller Manu, featuring Raja Goutham and Chandini Chowdary. Made with the help of crowdfunding, the film received encomiums for its unique story-telling, direction, production design, music, colour correction and costumes. However, it couldn’t light up the box office.
A source close to the development tells us, “Phanindra has been travelling with Mythri for over six months fine-tuning his script. It’s a poignant love story and will be headlined by a bevy of fresh faces. It is the journey of a girl and is set in the backdrop of a hill station, while the script also requires it to be shot in multiple locations. The principal photography will kick off next month, with the team hopeful of completing it by the end of summer. Naresh Kumaran, who composed music for Manu, has been signed on as the tunesmith for this untitled flick as well.”
