After Krithi Shetty, Sree Leela is fast emerging as the number one choice for Tollywood filmmakers. Close on the heels of signing Sai Korrapati’s production venture with Gali Janardhan Reddy’s son Kireeti, the Bengaluru girl, who made a splash with K Raghavendra Rao’s PellisandaD last year courtesy her young looks and grace-filled dance moves, has now bagged a film with Nithiin. The untitled film marks the return of leading writer Vakkantham Vamsi to director’s chair after Naa Peru Surya.

A source close to the development tells us, “Sree Leela hopped on board more than 10 days ago after falling in love with the script and her role. It’s a role where she wears her heart on her sleeve. Like Vamsi’s earlier female characters, there’s a lot for her to explore with the character.”

The source adds that the film, with a working title Junior, is an out-and-out entertainer and presents Nithiin in a complete new light. The actor’s home banner Sresth Movies is pumping in money for the project whose muhurat is scheduled to take place in the first week of April in Hyderabad. It will move to sets after the actor wraps up Macherla Niyojakavargam with MS Rajasekhar Reddy.

Meanwhile, Sree Leela is presently in Spain shaking a leg with Ravi Teja for the song shoot of Dhamaka. She is also rumoured to be playing a role in Trivikram’s next with superstar Mahesh Babu.
