Speaking at the pre-release event of his brother Nandamuri Kalyanram-starrer Amigos on Sunday in Hyderabad, Jr NTR requested fans to desist from pressurizing makers to constantly give ‘updates’. Addressing his fans, he said, “In fact, at times we don’t have anything to share. It’s difficult to give updates every day. We understand your eagerness and enthusiasm. But because of your eagerness and enthusiasm, the pressure is mounting on directors and producers. Out of pressure, they are releasing some random stuff and if you don’t like such stuff, you will give them a dressing-down. Directors and producers of other films are also facing the same problem. If there is an update, we will share it to you before we share it with our wives. Why? Because you are that important to us. I’m speaking this on behalf of other actors as well. If there is a wonderful update, we will reveal it to you. Please refrain from giving pressure to directors and producers after reading some random stuff. Today, Telugu film industry is at a number one position in the world. We have to focus a lot to make a film and my wish is to give an outstanding result.”
Tarak, as he is fondly called, also took the opportunity to disclose some details about his still-untitled next with Koratala Siva. He said the film’s muhurat will be held this month, while the principal photography will kick off on March 20 or before that. “It will be released on April 5, 2024,” he added.
