Almost a year after Michael, Sundeep Kishan is back in action with Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, the trailer of which was released at AMB Cinemas, Hyderabad on Thursday. The film marks the actor reteaming with his Tiger director VI Anand.
Roughly two minutes in length, the trailer opens with Sundeep’s part serenading Varsha Bollamma while a pleasant song plays out in the background. We are soon introduced to Bhairavakona village, where a lot of mysterious events are taking place, much to the puzzle of Sundeep. In a voiceover, someone tells destiny will perform its course and so, the bloodshed should continue. While VI Anand chooses to conceal the plot, he lets his visuals do all the talking. With the film majorly unfolding during the night time, there’s a certain sense of intrigue and mystery surrounding the plot. Add to the inclusion of Zombie elements, the plot seems to be crazier than what you think. Overall, Sundeep seems to be at a crossroads, trying to figure out what the village is going through.
With fantastic visuals, immaculate production design, musical score in sync with the emotional beats of the narrative and great depth in dialogue, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona promises a riveting mystery thriller packed with twists, turns, action, emotion and Zombie elements.
Produced by Razesh Danda under the Hasya Movies, with Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments presenting it, the film, also featuring Kavya Thapar, Ravishankar, Harsha Chemudu and Vennela Kishore, blazes into theatres on February 9.
