The Paradise pre-release event was celebrated yesterday on a massive scale, with crowds turning up in large numbers. Unfortunately, director Srikanth Odela and music director Anirudh Ravichander couldn’t attend the event as they are currently working on the final tweaks to the re-recording.
Anirudh addressed the gathering through a video message. He began by apologising to the crowd for not being able to attend the event. “My apologies for not being there. Srikanth and I are still working on the final tweaks. I think this is a very heartfelt film and a very special film for me and my entire team.”
The composer was particularly impressed by the filmmaker’s creative instincts. “Srikanth is a crazy, crazy talent. I was very surprised that such a young director has the same thought processes as me. We really sync on another level. Through this film, I have found a brother. Thank you, Srikanth, for this wonderful opportunity.”
He also acknowledged producer Sudhakar Cherukuri’s commitment. “I know this is a very big film. You took it up with passion and a vision in your head. I hope we are all able to deliver a super hit for you.”
Anirudh also spoke about his association with Nani. “Our combination is very special for all of you. We worked together on Jersey and Gang Leader, and now we have a hat-trick with The Paradise. I know all the fans also love this combination with Nani. He is a dear brother, and I am very happy that we got to work together on The Paradise with Srikanth’s brilliance.”
Anirudh is one of the prime reasons for the strong pre-release buzz surrounding the film, with the two previously released songs receiving a thumping response. The team also released a couple of other songs during the pre-release event, and they too have received a strong response.
