70mm Entertainments, the successful production house led by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy, is making another ambitious venture Powerpeta, featuring Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. Written and directed by Krishna Chaitanya, the film promises a powerful narrative driven by intense characters and dramatic storytelling. The makers previously unveiled a powerful glimpse to introduce Sundeep Kishan’s character as Senapathi Ravi. The glimpse received a tremendous response and hinted that the story blends love, honour, and politics.
Ritika Nayak, who has tasted consecutive blockbusters Mirai and Korean Kanakaraju, comes on board to play the female lead opposite Sundeep Kishan in the movie. On the occasion of Ritika’s birthday, the makers unveiled her first-look poster, introducing her character as Padamataveedhi Janaki. The poster presents Ritika Nayak in a traditional and elegant avatar, seated gracefully on a wooden bench inside a vintage-style house. She wears a cream-coloured traditional half-saree with a peach-toned dupatta and a sleeveless blouse, complemented by traditional jewellery and long, wavy hair. Her poised expression and graceful appearance add charm to the frame.
The makers have also unveiled a captivating glimpse, showcasing her grace, charm, and magnetic screen presence. She is seen in a variety of looks, effortlessly transitioning from traditional elegance to trendy and alluring avatars. Her appearance in an oversized shirt, in particular, stands out for its striking appeal. The glimpse offers a fascinating peek into the different shades of her character, building intrigue without revealing too much.
Krishna Chaitanya is crafting Powerpeta as his most ambitious project yet, with production progressing swiftly. The makers have already wrapped up 60% of the shoot. Ritika Nayak's presence adds to the film's appeal, while her successful track record brings an additional element of excitement.
The film boasts a top-notch technical team, with Madhie handling the cinematography and Mani Sharma composing the music. National Award-winning technician Sreekar Prasad is the editor, while Ramakrishna and Monika take care of production design. Sachin Sudhakaran and Hariharan are responsible for sound design.
