It has been more than a year since his last, Rangabali, had released and Naga Shaurya is yet to take his next on to the floors. While we hear that he has patiently waited to land scripts that tap the actor in him and simultaneously cast a spell at the box office, sources point out that he has locked a couple of scripts. One of them will see him reteaming up with his Rangabali helmer Pawan Basamsetti, the lad from Tadepalligudem.

The actor has got along like a house on fire with Pawan on Rangabali sets and it shouldn’t come as a surprise that they are joining forces again despite the fact that their first combination hadn’t met expectations at the box office after a promising initial. Like Rangabali, this untitled film too will be a full-length entertainer, sources reveal.

A source close to the development confirms to us, “Pawan has been working on this script since last year, fine-tuning it every now and then. It has shaped up nicely. While the script has all the bases covered for an out-and-out popcorn entertainer, it will have a mythological touch as well. The team hasn’t initiated casting but Pawan’s got on-board Satya, who along with Shaurya brought the house down in Rangabali with their sizzling camaraderie. The director hopes to repeat the same magic again this time albeit with double the entertainment. The film will be set on a bigger scale in terms of budget than Rangabali.”

The source adds that a production house will be locked by the end of this month, with Pawan planning to have the cameras rolling towards the end of the year or in January.
