Superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar of GMB Entertainment are backing Satya Dev’s much-awaited psychological thriller Rao Bahadur, alongside A+S Movies and SriChakraas Entertainments. Written, directed and edited by Venkatesh Maha, the film has been building anticipation with thumping response to the glimpse, first single, teaser and posters. Today, they released the film’s second single- Desa Sanchari, a lively track that brings vintage glamour and retro charm to the album.
Music director Smaran Sai delivers a composition that thrives on rhythm and energy. The song blends peppy orchestration with catchy hooks, creating a dance number that feels both nostalgic and refreshing. Adding further appeal are Rehman’s spirited lyrics and the dynamic vocals of Hemachandra and Priyanka Gajanan. Their performance injects the song with a vintage character that perfectly complements its visual style.
The song’s biggest attraction, however, is its presentation. Set against a lavish pub backdrop, the song showcases Satya Dev and Heidy Carola performing elegant salsa-inspired choreography designed by Shravan Muppiri. Their chemistry and confidence add sparkle to every frame.
With its throwback vibe and polished execution, Desa Sanchari stands out as a refreshing musical break in a film that otherwise promises psychological thrills. It is the kind of song that is tailor-made for a theatrical experience.
Deepa Thomas plays the female lead opposite Satya Dev, while Vikas Muppala, Bala Parasar, Anand Bharathi, Pranay Vaka, and Master Kiran appear in important roles.
The film stands out not only for its story but also for its strong technical team. Kartik Parmar is the cinematographer, Smaran Sai is the music director, and Rohan Singh is the production designer.
The wait is almost over, as Rao Bahadur is all set to hit theatres on July 3.
