Energetic Star Ram Pothineni is wearing two hats for his ambitious #RAPO23, and the actor-director is filming the movie at good pace. The film, which marks Ram’s directorial debut, is being mounted on a lavish scale by producer Krishna Pothineni under the Rapo Cinematics banner. Riteish Deshmukh, one of Bollywood’s most versatile performers, is all set to enter the Telugu film industry with #RAPO23. From Ek Villain to Raid 2 and the latest blockbuster Raja Shivaji, he has consistently showcased his ability to adapt to a wide range of characters.
For #RAPO23, Ram Pothineni is taking a very distinctive approach personally and carefully curating the film’s cast and crew, with every choice being made to strengthen the story and its first of its kind neo-noir world. Now, bringing an actor like Riteish on board for a crucial role shows the level of thought going into the project.
Riteish Deshmukh, who was impressed by the script and his character, immediately gave his nod to play a pivotal role in the movie. The actor has joined the shoot recently in the ongoing schedule in Hyderabad.
The makers have unveiled an on-set video offering a glimpse of the massive set where the film is being shot.
Though his face remains unseen, Riteish Deshmukh is spotted walking onto the set, where he receives a warm hug from the lead actor and director Ram Pothineni.
Tollywood’s lucky charm Samyuktha plays the female lead in the movie that also features some notable actors in important roles.
National Award-winning cinematographer Thirunavukarasu (Thirru) is capturing the film, while AS Prakash is designing the sets. Peter Hein, Vikram Mor and Kevin are designing the action sequences.
With a strong technical crew and ambitious production scale supporting Ram’s vision, #RAPO23 is shaping up as a distinctive psychological action thriller.
