Into its second week, Sree Vishnu-starrer Samajavaragamana, which opened to glowing reviews and fantastic word-of-mouth, continues to cast a spell at the box office. The film’s figures for the first 12 days stands at Rs 40.21 crore, thereby emerging as Vishnu’s biggest grosser so far.
In the US, the film has collected $886k so far and is inching towards breaching the coveted $ 1 million mark.
A love story set in the backdrop of family atmosphere; praise for the film has particularly gone to its healthy humour, marvelous performances of Vishnu, Naresh and the dialogues. The clean family content meant audiences of different ilk are thronging to theatres to watch the film.
Directed by Ram Abbaraju from a script by Bhanu Bhogavarapu, Samajavaragamana, produced by Hasya Movies in association with AK Entertainments, also features Reba Monica John, Srikanth Iyyengar, Vennela Kishore, Sudarshan, Rajeev Kanakala, Devi Prasad, Priya and Keshav Deepa. Its music has been composed by Gopi Sundar.
