Together, they’ve delivered the box office smash Kabir Singh, which went on to become the highest grosser in leading man Shahid Kapoor’s career. They’ve followed it up with Animal, which is continuing to do gangbuster business 15 days after its release. While grossing Rs 835.9 cr in 17 days so far all over, it emerged as the highest grossing Indian film in countries like Australia and Canada. Yes, we are talking about the combination of T-Series head Bhushan Kumar and Telugu director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
And they are not done yet. Having formed a formidable jodi, they will be continuing their association moving forward. Their next film in the combination will be Spirit, which is headlined by Rebel star Prabhas. An action-drama, where Prabhas will be slipping into the shoes of a cop, it will go in front of the cameras mostly in September next year, with pre-production set to kick off next summer. To be shot in Telugu, the film’s production will be overseen by People Media Factory. Immediately after Spirit will be Animal Park, which is a sequel to Animal.
While not many details about Animal Park are available, expect it to generate the frenzy that Animal has created once the release date nears. Maybe the same amount of controversies as well. After Animal Park, Sandeep will be joining forces with Icon star Allu Arjun. “It's a partnership built on trust, fueled by creative freedom, and fortified by an unbreakable bond. Producer Bhushan Kumar and director #SandeepReddyVanga unveil the next cinematic wonders—Prabhas' Spirit, Animal Park, and an Allu Arjun saga—the chapters that follow the monumental success of Kabir Singh and #Animal,” wrote T-Series on their X page Tuesday. We are waiting!
