Statistics show that, in today’s fast-paced world, infertility has become one of the major problems faced by married couples. Proof of this can be seen in the mushrooming fertility clinics everywhere you look. For the first time in Telugu, a film addressing such an issue has been made by blending it with comedy, and that is Santhana Prapthirasthu. The trailer is now out. With dialogues like “Didn’t you hear when Prakash Raj said it in Devara’s story?” and “If there was an anchor who could listen, even Venu Swamy would have said this much,” delivered by Abhinav Gomatam, the trailer manages to evoke laughter throughout while simultaneously highlighting the struggles faced by married couples.
The trailer also reveals that Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary play the lead pair, and director Tharun Bhascker appears in a key role. Along with them, Vennela Kishore, Jeevan Kumar, Muralidhar Goud, and Harsha Vardhan will be seen in other characters. The film is jointly produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy, with Sanjeev Reddy directing. Santhana Prapthirasthu is slated for release on November 14.
