With Sriram Adittya’s Maname (tentative title) behind him, Sharwanand is looking ahead. While directors like Kalyan Shankar (MAD fame) and Abhilash Reddy (Maa Nanna Superhero fame) are in the running to get his dates, the debonair actor, according to sources, has picked his immediate director. He will be joining forces with Ram Abbaraju, the director who vowed critics and audience alike with the delectable Samajavaragamana earlier this year.

A source close to the development tells us, “Sharwa liked Samajavaragamana a lot and met Ram casually sometime back, discussing some ideas. Soon after, Ram narrated a story and Sharwa was sold immediately. He gave his consent after the first narration itself. Ram’s friend Bhanu Bogapavarapu has provided the story for this project as well.”

The source adds, “The untitled project will be a wholesome comedy entertainer; it will be more hilarious than Samajavaragamana. The project is once again an attempt from Ram to bring in family audiences to theatres. Sharwa has an uncanny sense of comic timing and it will be explored fully in this film.”

The source goes on, “The project will mostly go in front of the cameras from February next year and Sharwa will be shooting it alongside his film with Abhilash Reddy. Mythri Movie Makers are on board to produce it, marking the actor’s first collaboration with the premium production house.”
