The trailer of Sree Vishnu-fronted Single was unveiled at an event in Hyderabad on Monday and it leaves no stone unturned in tickling viewers’ funny bones.
Clocking in at two-and-a-half minutes, the trailer opens with Vishnu’s character listing out three ways to make girls fall for men to his friend played by Vennela Kishore: 1) to act as good boys 2) to exhibit bad boys’ attitude 3) to behave as mass boys. Vishnu is a born single and believes no woman will enter his life. However, that changes with the arrival of Purva (played by Ketika Sharma), who will be seen as his subordinate in the film. As he tries to woo her, another woman Harini (played by Ivana) also enters his life. He is soon sandwiched between the two women while Vennela Kishore tries to play the savior. The rest of the trailer takes an emotional turn as Vishnu nurses heartbreak while the two women are emotionally disturbed by Vishnu’s actions. What happens next seems to form the crux of the story.
Summing up, the trailer wastes no time in giving out the plot, which revolves around a single man finding love from two women simultaneously, promising an entertaining mix of laughter and emotion. The story and his character are right in the wheelhouse of Vishnu and he aces it with his natural flair for humour. Combining with the one and only Vennela Kishore, the duo promises copious laughs. Vishnu’s pairing with Ketika and Ivana is fresh. With its quirky humour, cheeky one-liners and uproarious scenarios, this film is poised to have us rolling in the aisles.
Written and directed by Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene fame Caarthick Raj and produced by Vidya Koppineedi, Bhanu Pratapa and Riyaz Chowdary under Geetha Arts and Kalya Films with Allu Aravind serving as the presenter, Single, a Vishal Chandrasekhar musical, is scheduled to hit theaters on May 9th.
