Leading producer Shirish Reddy’s comments against global star Ram Charan in a recent interaction has snowballed into a big controversy. While his partner Dil Raju stepped in on Tuesday and clarified that there are absolutely no differences between SVC and Ram Charan and doused the fire to an extent, Shirish too issued a statement, extending his apologies.

“My comments from the interview have been misinterpreted. However, I’ve realized that some mega fans have been hurt over it. For Game Changer, Ram Charan has lent his time and support. We continue to have good ties with megastar Chiranjeevi’s family for a long time. We don’t speak ill of Chiranjeevi garu, Charan garu or other mega heroes. I extend my apologies if my comments hurt anyone,” Shirish said.

Earlier in the day, Charan fans issued a stern warning, stating there will be dire consequences if anyone speaks in an incorrect manner about Game Changer and Charan. “Cinema is a business out of which you reap profits and incur losses as well. As a production house which claims films do well and mint money because of your tactics, how appropriate is it to blame everyone associated with the film when it doesn’t do well?” Charan fans wanted to know from SVC.

They listed some points arguing their case. From asking whether 14 Reels spoke about the hero even once during 1: Nenokkadine, they wanted to know who approached Shankar and why Game Changer took three years to be completed when it was supposed to be wrapped up in a year. “Is it right to spew venom on a hero who has done his next film after RRR with you?” Charan fans quizzed. “We’ve waited three years for the film to release and we’ve been depressed after the flop. You’ve been talking about the film in every press meet and interview, causing us pain and stoking our anger. This is the final warning. If you talk about Game Changer and Ram Charan in an incorrect manner, you will have to face dire consequences,” the letter further read.

In the interview, Shirish noted that after Game Changer’s result, neither Ram Charan nor Shankar came to their rescue with any sort of help. He added that they didn’t even bother to make a courtesy call.

గ్లోబల్ స్టార్ రామ్ చరణ్ పై ప్రముఖ నిర్మాత శిరీష్ రెడ్డి ఇటీవల ఇచ్చిన ఇంటర్యూలో చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలు పెద్ద వివాదంగా మారాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఆయన భాగస్వామి దిల్ రాజు మంగళవారం స్పందించి, శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర క్రియేషన్స్ (SVC)కు మరియు రామ్ చరణ్ కు మధ్య ఎలాంటి విభేదాలూ లేవని స్పష్టత ఇచ్చి ఆ వివాదాన్ని కొంతమేర శాంతింపజేశారు. ఇక తాజాగా శిరీష్ కూడా ఒక ప్రకటన విడుదల చేస్తూ క్షమాపణలు కోరారు.

శిరీష్ స్పందిస్తూ ఇలా అన్నారు:
"నేను ఇచ్చిన ఇంటర్వ్యూలోని వ్యాఖ్యలను తప్పుడు విధంగా అర్థం చేసుకున్నారు. అయితే, నా వ్యాఖ్యల వల్ల కొంతమంది మెగా అభిమానులు బాధపడ్డారని నేను గుర్తించాను. గేమ్ చేంజర్ కోసం రామ్ చరణ్ తన సమయాన్ని, మద్దతును ఇచ్చారు. మేము మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి గారి కుటుంబంతో ఎప్పటి నుంచో మంచి సంబంధాలు కొనసాగిస్తూ వస్తున్నాం. మేమెప్పుడూ చిరంజీవి గారు, చరణ్ గారు, లేదా ఇతర మెగా హీరోల గురించి చెడుగా మాట్లాడం. ఎవరికైనా నా వ్యాఖ్యల వల్ల బాధ కలిగితే నేను క్షమాపణలు కోరుతున్నాను."

అంతకుముందు రోజే, రామ్ చరణ్ అభిమానులు హెచ్చరికతో కూడిన ఓ లేఖ విడుదల చేశారు. "గేమ్ చేంజర్ సినిమా గురించి లేదా రామ్ చరణ్ గురించి ఎవ్వరైనా తప్పుడు రీతిలో మాట్లాడితే తీవ్ర పరిణామాలు ఉంటాయి," అని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

అభిమానులు ఇంకా ఇలా ప్రశ్నించారు:
"సినిమా అనేది లాభనష్టాల వ్యాపారం. ఒక సినిమా హిట్ అయితే అది తమ టాక్టిక్స్ వల్లే అన్నట్లుగా మాట్లాడే మీరు, సినిమా ఫలితం అనుకూలంగా రాకపోతే అందులో ఉన్నవారినందరినీ తప్పుపట్టడం ఎంతవరకు సమంజసం?"

వారు తమ వాదనకు కొన్ని ముఖ్యమైన పాయింట్లు కూడా ప్రస్తావించారు:

"1: నేనొక్కడినే" సమయంలో 14 రీల్స్ హిరో గురించి ఒక్కసారి అయినా మాట్లాడిందా?

అభిమానులు నిరాశతో కూడిన ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు:
"మేము ఈ సినిమాను మూడు సంవత్సరాలుగా ఎదురుచూశాం. ఇది ప్లాప్ అవడంతో తీవ్ర నిరాశకు లోనయ్యాం. ప్రతి ప్రెస్ మీట్‌లోనూ, ఇంటర్వ్యూలోనూ మీరు ఈ సినిమా గురించి మాట్లాడుతూనే ఉన్నారు. మాకు బాధ కలుగుతోంది. ఇది చివరి హెచ్చరిక. ఇకపై గేమ్ చేంజర్, రామ్ చరణ్ గురించి తప్పుడు రీతిలో మాట్లాడితే తీవ్ర పరిణామాలు తప్పవు."

ఇంటర్వ్యూలో శిరీష్, గేమ్ చేంజర్ ఫలితానంతరం రామ్ చరణ్ కానీ, శంకర్ కానీ తమకు మద్దతుగా ఏం చేయలేదని, కనీసం ఫోన్ కాల్ కూడా చేయలేదని ఆరోపించారు.
