In the last leg of promoting his ambitious Animal, which opens on December 1, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has another monumental task ahead of him next year: Spirit with Prabhas. The project which was announced many many moons ago will be getting off the ground in the third quarter of next year–immediately after Prabhas completes his untitled film with Maruthi.

Now, speaking to idlebrain.com in an exclusive conversation, Sandeep Vanga shed light about some developments about the highly-awaited Spirit. He said the rebel star will be seen as a cop in the film and they are targeting a Xmas release in 2025 or Sankranti 2026.

To be primarily shot in Telugu, T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures will be bankrolling Spirit, while People Media Factory will also be associating with the project at the production level as announced by them earlier this summer.

A physique of Prabhas’ stature as a cop and that too under Sandeep’s exceptional vision. Now that’s a character we are dying to see!
