Renowned director Sukumar needs no special introduction. He gained international recognition as a filmmaker with Pushpa and Pushpa 2 and was recently honored as Best Screenplay Writer at the National Awards. Following in Sukumar’s footsteps, his daughter Sukriti Veni Bandreddi is also carving out a distinctive path of her own. Sukriti Veni, who won the National Award for Best Child Actress for the film Gandhi Tatha Chettu for the year 2024, has now achieved another rare distinction. She has been selected for the Ensemble Excellence Award in the music category at the internationally renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, and has secured a full scholarship. She has received a full scholarship for next year’s Summer Music Program at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
A total of 272 students auditioned for this scholarship, but only 14 received full scholarships. What makes Sukriti Veni’s achievement even more special is that she is the only student in the Singers category to receive a full scholarship.

బర్క్‌లీ స్కూల్‌ ఆఫ్‌ మ్యూజిక్‌ స్కూల్‌ ఎన్‌సెంబల్‌ ఎక్సెలన్స్‌ అవార్డును ఎంపికైన సుకృతి వేణి బండ్రెడ్డి!

పుష్ప, పుష్ప-2 చిత్రంతో అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయిలో దర్శకుడిగా గుర్తింపు పొంది. ఇటీవల జాతీయ అవార్డుల్లో ఉత్తమ స్క్రీన్‌ప్లే రచయితగా ఘనత పొందిన ప్రముఖ దర్శకుడు సుకుమార్‌ గురించి ప్రత్యేకంగా చెప్పాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. అయితే సుకుమార్‌ బాటలోనే ఆయన తనయురాలు సుకృతి వేణి బండ్రెడ్డి కూడా విభిన్న బాటలో పయనిస్తున్నారు. 2024 సంవత్సరానికి జాతీయ ఉత్తమ బాల నటిగా 'గాంధీ తాత చెట్టు' చిత్రానికి గాను అవార్డు సాధించిన సుకృతి వేణి ఇప్పుడు మరో అరుదైన ఘనతను కైవసం చేసుకుంది. అమెరికాలోని బోస్టన్‌లో ఉండే అంతర్జాతీయ బర్క్‌లీ స్కూల్‌ ఆఫ్‌ మ్యూజిక్‌ స్కూల్‌లో సంగీత విభాగంలో ఎన్‌సెంబల్‌ ఎక్సెలన్స్‌ అవార్డును ఎంపికై ఫుల్‌ స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ను సొంతం చేసుకుంది. Boston లోని Berklee College of Music లో వచ్చే ఏడాది Summer Music Program కోసం Full Scholarship వచ్చింది.
ఈ Scholarship కోసం మొత్తం 272 మంది పిల్లలు ఆడిషన్ ఇవ్వగా, కేవలం 14 మందికి మాత్రమే Full Scholarship వచ్చింది. అందులో కూడా Singers విభాగంలో పూర్తి Scholarship పొందిన ఏకైక విద్యార్థిని సుకృతి వేణి కావడం విశేషం.
