Dheeraj Mogilineni has earned a reputation as a successful producer and distributor by bringing content-driven films to audiences. Under his banner, Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainments, he is producing the children’s film Summer Holidays, directed by Srikar. The film promises to take audiences on a beautiful journey through childhood memories. Featuring Master Rohan Roy, Master Arun and Baby Khushi in key roles, Summer Holidays is set for a grand theatrical release on November 6. The makers held a release date announcement press meet in Hyderabad today.
Music director Sinjith Yerramilli said, “When I first signed the film, I thought working on it would be easy, but it turned out to require a lot of hard work. I am happy to see the response the songs are receiving. My work on the film is now complete. I request audiences to watch our film in theatres on November 6 and support us. It is a beautiful feel-good movie that will remind you of your nostalgic moments.”
Child actor Rohan Roy said, “Our film was supposed to release earlier. Whenever my friends asked me about it, I told them it would release during the summer holidays. Later, I said it would arrive during the Dasara holidays. Now, when I tell them it will release on November 6, they don’t believe me. But our film is definitely releasing on that date. We should have been celebrating our success meet by now, but instead, we are announcing the release date. I hope audiences watch our film and shower us with love. See you all in theatres on November 6.”
Director Srikar said, “We are happy with the response to our teaser and songs. We have watched the film, and it has come out very well. We are bringing you a wonderful entertainer this festive season. Although people call it a children’s film, we have made it in a way that appeals to everyone, with two children at the centre of the story. Audiences of all age groups will enjoy it, and it is a film the entire family can watch together. Just as happy as we felt after watching the film, we believe audiences will also leave theatres feeling the same way. They will recommend it to others as a good film. This story, which is close to our hearts, will remain in your hearts for years after its release. I am confident that the film will become a big blockbuster.”
Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni said, “We considered a few release dates in October, but things did not work out. We have now finalised November 6. Small films face limitations when it comes to publicity and release planning. Along with making a good film, choosing the right time to release it is also important. Rather than releasing alongside big films and facing difficulties, we decided to wait for a suitable date. Changing release dates has been challenging for us too, but we are moving forward with confidence in our film’s content. Summer Holidays will arrive in theatres on November 6, and I am sure audiences will enjoy it with their families. Rohan and Arun play the lead roles. Although it is being called a children’s film, it is actually a perfect nostalgic film. Adults will be reminded of their childhood and the memories of visiting their grandparents’ villages during summer holidays as children and teenagers. The film is designed to connect with everyone, and parents may enjoy it even more than children. We aim to take audiences back to their childhood for two hours. We believe the film will be a hit this festive season. In my opinion, the government should not permit ticket price hikes, as keeping ticket prices affordable is important for the survival of small films.”
