Ravi Teja, whose action drama Eagle awaits release this February 9, made his presence felt in the Sankranthi season too, with his voice-over in Teja Sajja’s superhero saga HanuMan. While the sequel to HanuMan titled Jai HanuMan has been announced already, there’s immense anticipation around Teja’s upcoming projects. The ‘Mass Maharaja’ shared a surprise update today.

In a promotional interview for Eagle where Ravi Teja and Teja Sajja came together, the former announced the young actor’s upcoming project. Teja Sajja will next join hands with Eagle filmmaker Karthik Gattamneni for an exciting film. That’s not all, the producers of Eagle - People Media Factory - are bankrolling the same.

Sources close to the team have informed that it is an Indiana Jones-styled adventure film and a major chunk of its shoot has been completed already. Other details around the prestigious project will be shared shortly. In the same interview, Teja thanked Ravi Teja for going out of the way to help team HanuMan with his voice-over and said he’s a star with a big heart.

The Mass Maharaja said that Teja Sajja’s career will now be divided into two phases - before and after HanuMan. The star expressed happiness for his success and congratulated the director Prasanth Varma and producer Niranjan Reddy for the same. Ravi Teja had earlier associated with director Prasanth for Awe, where he had lent his voice for a bonsai plant.

On the work front, Ravi Teja is currently working with Harish Shankar for Mr Bachchan, the Telugu remake of Ajay Devgn’s film Raid, which stars newcomer Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. The film is expected to release later this year.
